Bison Good Sports

In 2006, the Bucknell Department of Athletics and Recreation announced its new “Bison Good Sports!” campaign, a sportsmanship awareness program designed to promote appropriate fan conduct at all Bison sporting events. The objective of the campaign, according to Bucknell director of athletics and recreation John Hardt “is to thank fans for the tremendous energy and enthusiasm they bring to each Bucknell athletics contest while also empowering them as caretakers of the collegiate gameday experience. While the extremes of unwanted behavior and its impact on home and visiting fans are not commonplace at Bison athletics events, Bucknell and our visiting teams ask for our fans’ help in keeping their support of our teams positive and cheer with positive encouragement, rather than supporting an atmosphere of intimidation that attempts to degrade opposing players and teams. We hope that our fans will continue to join our players, coaches and staff in helping all spectators find creative and ingenious ways to positively support our Bucknell student-athletes.”

What it means to

be a bison

“To be a Bucknell Bison means that you value the importance of academics, athletics, camaraderie and sportsmanship. A Bison is someome who has the ability to balance both the fun and serious aspects of athletics. However, most of all a Bison is proud to wear Orange and Blue, representing the University and symbolizing the unity of the entire Bucknell community. ” - Tayler Siegrist Senior Captain

The term “student-athlete” signifies something extraordinary on the campus of Bucknell University. Being a Bison means that you have the rare blend of physical skills along with the drive and passion needed to succeed at the highest level of collegiate athletics. Being a Bison also means that you are a scholar first and foremost. You believe that values associated with Division I athletics, such as time management, leadership, teamwork and grace under pressure, are but a part of a wellrounded college experience. At Bucknell, our students, faculty and staff pride themselves as national leaders in upholding the scholar-athlete ideal that balances a challenging academic program with the demands of successful Division I athletics. Being a Bison means that you have pledged to be a student-athlete in the purest sense. In doing so, you will be rewarded for a lifetime.

Patriot League/Mission Statement Now in its third decade as an all-sport conference combining academic and athletic excellence, the Patriot League sponsors championships in 24 men and women’s sports. Initially started as an NCAA Division I-AA football conference in 1986, the Patriot League became an all-sport conference in 1990 and includes American, Army, Bucknell, Colgate, Holy Cross, Lafayette, Lehigh and Navy as full members, and Fordham, Georgetown and MIT as associate members. Boston University will join the Patriot League as a full member beginning in the 2013-14 season. These institutions are among the oldest and most prestigious in the nation and their alumni have and continue to play leadership roles in shaping our country. Since 1998, the Patriot League has ranked first each year among all Division I conferences awarding athletic aid in the NCAA Graduation Rate Report. The League finished at the top spot with nearly all of its teams reporting a graduation rate of 85 percent or higher in the most recent data. In addition, 84 teams from Patriot League full-member institutions earned NCAA Academic Performance Program Public Recognition Awards after posting academic progress rate scores in the top 10 percent of all squads in their respective sports. The Patriot League’s mission is simple, to provide successful competitive athletic experiences while maintaining high academic standards, and to prepare its student-athletes to be leaders in society. During the 2011-12 academic year, Patriot League student-athletes and teams accomplished the following: • In the latest release of NCAA Academic Progress Rate, 94 percent of Patriot League teams scored at or above the national Division I four-year average score of 973. • 79 Patriot League teams, and 84 overall from full-member institutions, earned Public Recognition Awards from the NCAA for finishing in the top 10 percent of all teams in the most recent four-year APR scores. • Lehigh, a No. 15 seed, defeated No. 2 Duke 75-70 in a second-round NCAA Tournament game on March 16. The victory was nominated for a “best upset” award for the ESPYs. • Colgate’s Peter Baum became the first player in Patriot League history to win the Tewaaraton Award as the top collegiate lacrosse player, and also claimed the Lt. Enners Award for the same distinction. • Colgate’s Elise DeRoo was named the Patriot League Female ScholarAthlete of the Year, while Army’s Brendan Buckley won the Male ScholarAthlete of the Year award. • Ten student-athletes were named Capital One Academic All-Americans, including first-team selections for Army’s Brendan Buckley (lacrosse), Army’s Zach Price (Baseball), Bucknell’s Tim Bolte (Football) and Lehigh’s Jennifer Colquhoun (Softball). • 48 student-athletes earned Capital One Academic All-District recognition. • It was the first time in Patriot League men’s basketball history that three teams played in the postseason tournament: Lehigh (NCAA), Bucknell (NIT), American (CIT). • Eight players were named FCS All-Americans overall, with Lehigh’s Ryan Spadola and Bucknell’s Bryce Robertson joining Schaetzke as firstteam selections. • Bucknell’s Brendan Burgdorf earned NSCAA Scholar All-America firstteam honors while Army’s Jeff Pickett made the third team. • Navy’s Zack Duncavage placed 16th in the discus and The Presidents’ Cup signifies overall Bucknell’s Leonard Joseph placed 17th in the hammer excellence in the 23 sports sponsored by throw at the NCAA Division I the Patriot League, and Bucknell has won Men’s Track and Field Outdoor the Cup 17 times in its 22-year existence, including 13 of the last 15 years. Bucknell Department of Athletics and Recreation Mission Statement

The Department of Athletics and Recreation strives to set the standard of excellence for intercollegiate and intramural programs in higher education, thereby advancing and drawing attention to the mission, core values, and educational goals of Bucknell University. The Department believes that student-athletes’ academic programs must be their first priority. It is therefore committed to maintaining Bucknell’s high national ranking for student-athletes’ graduation rates and for producing Academic All-Americans, and to continued leadership of the Patriot League in Academic Honor Roll nominations, based on grade-point averages. The coaches’ and staff’s paramount responsibility is maintaining academic priorities and supporting student-athletes’ education, even while providing the rigorous and serious NCAA Division I athletic opportunities Bucknell student-athletes seek. Further, the Department promotes the personal growth of studentathletes and the general student body by encouraging personal health, development, and balance among intellectual, social, civic, and physical pursuits; by celebrating challenge and competition; and by preparing participants for service and leadership in the world. Coaches and staff direct a rich array of athletic programs and recreational opportunities aimed at increasing student engagement, as well as strengthening character, healthy living, teamwork, sportsmanship, and spirit. In creating shared experiences for students, faculty, and staff, as well as alumni, family, and friends, the Department’s programs add substantially to Bucknell’s sense of community and foster life-long relationships with Bucknell. The Department embraces the University’s decision to compete at the highest extramural level, in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Division I membership is valuable not only because this level of competition maximally challenges student-athletes, but also because it signals clearly Bucknell’s high standards and seriousness of purpose in all extracurricular endeavors and it helps position Bucknell apart from other National Liberal Arts Colleges. Likewise, the competitive success the Department seeks, measured in part by consistent contention for the Patriot League Presidents’ Cup, reflects positively upon Bucknell’s student-athletes and the University alike, and it brings distinction and national recognition to Bucknell. A student-centered operation, the Department is committed to providing equitable opportunities to women and men, as well as members of minority and majority groups of all kinds. The Department subscribes to, and complies with, all principles and regulations of the Patriot League, the Eastern College Athletic Conference, and the NCAA.

Bucknell Bison Athletics setting the stAndArd of excellence

Bucknell takes great pride in its commitment to excellence on and off the playing fields. From Presidents’ Cups to Academic All-Americans to graduation rates that are ranked annually in the national top-10, Bucknell is clearly at the head of the class when it comes to upholding the scholar-athlete ideal. •

According to federal data released by the NCAA each fall, Bucknell’s student-athlete graduation rate annually ranks in the top 10 among all Division I institutions. Bucknell has led the nation in graduation rates twice, and in the most recent survey in the fall of 2011, Bucknell ranked No. 4 in the nation.

Bucknell has claimed a league-high 127 Patriot League Scholar-Athletes of the Year since the league’s inception as an all-sports conference in 1990-91.

A total of 390 Bison appeared on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll in 2011-12 after recording a GPA of 3.2 or better during their sport’s competition season. Among all BU student-athletes, 252 made the Dean’s List with GPAs of 3.5 or better in the fall 2011 semester.

In addition to the 121 Capital One Academic All-Americans produced since 1970, Bucknell has also claimed 329 Academic All-District honorees over the same span, including 15 in 2011-12.

Bucknell has earned 91 Patriot League championships in 22 years in the league. In addition, Bucknell has had 113 conference players of the year, 99 PL coaches of the year and a whopping 533 individual league champions from sports such as cross country, track & field, swimming & diving, tennis and golf.

24 of Bucknell’s 27 varsity squads posted team GPAs of 3.0 or better in the spring of 2012.

Bucknell has captured the Patriot League Presidents’ Cup, signifying the league’s all-sports champion, 17 times in the 22-year history of the affiliation, including 13 of the last 15 years.

Bucknell ranks FIFTH in the nation (to Nebraska, Notre Dame, Penn State and Stanford) in total number of Capital One Academic All-America selections with 121.

A major element in ensuring Bucknell’s commitment to athletics excellence is the Kenneth G. Langone Athletics & Recreation Center, which opened fully in 2003. One of the finest collegiate athletics facilities of its kind, the center includes the 4,000-seat Sojka Pavilion, the Olympic class Kinney Natatorium, the Krebs Family Fitness Center and the Berger Family Weight Room. A Hall of Fame area, a display of Bucknell’s Medal of Honor recipients, a new Academic All-America wall, a sports medicine suite, modern offices for coaches and staff, and locker room and classroom space are also included in the facility’s layout.

Bucknell Bison Athletics

A nAtionAl Model in ProMoting the scholAr-Athlete ideAl Bucknell Athletics is first and foremost a student-centered organization, one that strives to be a national leader when it comes to operating by a true scholar-athlete model. At Bucknell, student-athletes’ academic programs are their first priority, and providing a competitive Division I athletics program only advances the mission, values and residential learning goals of the university. To that end, the Department of Athletics and Recreation proactively seeks ways to assist student-athletes in their daily academic pursuits. Below are just some of the student-athlete support programs currently in place. FACULTY ATHLETICS REPRESENTATIVE: The faculty athletics representative (FAR) is a member of the faculty or administrative staff who is designated to represent Bucknell in its relationships with the NCAA and the Patriot League. Bucknell’s FAR is Mitch Chernin, Professor of Biology. The FAR can enhance the student-athlete experience by promoting a balance between academics, athletics and the social lives of student-athletes, which affords them opportunities to enjoy the full range of collegiate experiences available to students generally. SIDELINE COACH PROGRAM: This program is a truly unique initiative in Division I college athletics, and it involves the invitation of a member of the faculty, administration, staff or community by one of Bucknell’s 27 varsity teams. The participant has the opportunity to discuss the overall program with the respective coaching staff, including practice preparation and strategy for the upcoming contest. The sideline coach attends a practice session and an actual intercollegiate competition, where he/she is introduced to the team and gains rarely seen insight into the relationships that exist between player-coach and player-player. The purpose of the Sideline Coaches Program is to foster a better understanding by the faculty and administration of the roles played by coaches and athletes in the university’s competitive intercollegiate athletic arena. ACADEMIC ENHANCEMENT CENTER: In the Fall of 2005, the Department of Athletics opened a study/computer lab for student-athletes on the concourse level of Sojka Pavilion. The center is outfitted with computers, a laser printer, four television monitors and a projection unit with computer, VCR and DVD player. Additionally, the study lab can be used as a meeting place for group projects, tutorial area or just a secluded and quiet study space before or after practice. LAPTOP PROGRAM: The Department of Athletics owns a number of laptop computers that may be signed out by student-athletes for use on away trips. STUDENT-ATHLETE ADVISORY COMMITTEE (SAAC): Representatives from each varsity team comprise the SAAC, which is designed to enhance the total student-athlete experience by promoting opportunity, protecting student-athlete welfare, and fostering a positive student-athlete image. The Committee is an invaluable resource for promoting communication between athletics administration and student-athletes; promoting communication between athletics and campus-wide administration; providing feedback and insight, as well as soliciting responses into department issues and proposed NCAA legislation; building a sense of community within the athletics program involving all athletics teams; organizing community service projects and efforts; creating a vehicle for student-athlete representation on campus-wide committees; serving as a collective voice of campus student-athletes; and disseminating information to the student-athlete body. BUCKNELL BISON LEADERSHIP ACADEMY: In 2011-12, the Department of Athletics launched the Bucknell Bison Leadership Academy. As part of a Patriot League-wide leadership initiative, this program is designed to help student-athletes learn how to be effective leaders on and off the playing fields. The Leadership Academy features programming and instruction that bridge theory, development and real experiences in an interactive learning environment. Through this endeavor, team leaders can enhance their impact on their teammates’ and their program’s performance immediately and for years to come.

Season Preview Just as it has been through much of head coach Jeremy Cook’s tenure, the 2012 Bucknell field hockey schedule will feature plenty of tests. Experience – the Bison return the core of their playmakers from a year ago – and a go-get-‘em attitude will be the keys to the Bison’s success against foes such as Connecticut, Ohio State, Michigan and Penn State. Lucky for them, they have plenty of both. “For the third year in a row, we have chosen to have a really tough schedule,” said Cook, who is heading into his fifth season with the Orange and Blue. “I think that that feeds into Bucknell’s student-athlete model really well in that we rise to challenges. The team really goes after it when they know it’s an uphill battle.” Experience, this time in a been-there-done-that sense, proves Cook’s point. The Bison took on five opponents ranked in the top 20 nationally last season. Although they were unable to capture a victory in those matchups, they stayed within just a pair of goals against No. 7 Princeton and eventually No. 8 Penn State and No. 5 Syracuse. Four times during the campaign, Bucknell pushed the game to overtime and all four contests ended in a win for the Orange and Blue. Bucknell also took two games off perennial Patriot League favorite American, a team Bucknell had not defeated in more than a decade. The second came in the Patriot League Tournament on the Eagles’ home field. When the going gets tough, the Bison get going. Guiding Bucknell through the challenging schedule in 2012 will be its tried and true substitution rotation that called for players to go all-out for short bursts of calculated time. That allowed the Bison to use their deep bench last year, resulting in game-tested players now. “That gives us 13 players coming back that honestly have seen the field a lot and have the chance to gain experience from playing,” said Cook. “That separates us a little bit from the other teams. We have a lot of returning experience, even if some of those guys are pretty young and not as developed as they’re going to be.” Among the offensive leaders for 2012 are juniors Rachel Misko and Leigh Hillman. Seniors Tayler Siegrist and Kelly Stefanowicz will also be key contributors on a corner unit that remains intact for a second consecutive year. Misko is Bucknell’s leading returner in both points (13) and assists (5) and last fall received both First Team and All-Tournament Team honors from the Patriot League. Back from a summer internship with CBS, the junior is poised to continue her dominance on the field. “We’ve been working on ways to get her more involved on and off the ball, changing positions and changing formations to highlight her on the attacking end,” said Cook of his former Patriot League Rookie of the Year. “Rachel’s going to be someone we showcase on the offensive side. We’re looking to really feed her the ball as much as we can.” Cook had nothing but praise for Hillman, who has complimented Misko at the forward position with her speed and willingness to mix things up in front of the net. “She’s really fast. If she’s not going to get the ball, she’s going to die trying,” Cook commented. “She’s just a great young woman in terms of how hard she works and how dedicated she is.” Stefanowicz and Siegrist both struck corners last year, and both had solid success in their duties. The 2012 captain Siegrist tallied four goals, tying her with Misko for the most by a returning player. Vickie Resh has had one of Bucknell’s most noteworthy eight months. Since earning Second Team All-League and All-Tournament honors in November, the junior has won a title for New Jersey at the U.S. Senior National Championships and earned a spot on the U21 Junior National Squad. Resh tallied a goal and an assist last season while starting all 20 games in the backfield. “She’s had a great year in terms of her own personal development and we’re expecting great things from her,” lauded Cook, who added that Resh, an animal behavior major, also spent part of her summer doing veterinary work on a farm. Among those to make a splash during her rookie campaign last fall was Maggie Murphy. Murphy led all Bison freshmen with five points (2G, 1 A), but her stats don’t tell the whole

6

story of her contributions. “Maggie’s probably one of our most explosive players. She brings a huge amount of spark and energy whenever she’s on the field,” said Cook. “She’s one of the players that fit in well with our rotation system, so playing six or seven minutes at a time she can change a game and exhaust herself and then come off and rest. Then the next time she comes on, she changes the game again.” Anchoring the defense will be junior Erica Perrine, who had a Rachel Misko breakout season with 101 saves and a Second Team All-Patriot League nod a year ago. The goalkeeper played in all 20 games and started each of the final 17 in goal, finishing with an 8-9 record. Cook praised Perrine’s athleticism at the start of the 2011 season, and that has not changed. “Erica is one of the most talented goalies I have had the opportunity to work with. She makes ridiculous saves look easy pretty frequently.” Filling critical support roles will be Bison such as Kelsey Mucelli, Liz Wills, Amie Pritchard and Cassie Goggin. The “support” title shouldn’t fool you, however. Mucelli and Wills were both regular starters last season, while Pritchard and Goggin also saw action in all 20 games. Multi-taskers Mucelli and Goggin spent their summers on campus doing research and working in Europe, respectively, but the two are still expected to come back as strong as ever in 2012. Sophomores Pritchard and Wills are also expected to continue with their usual contributions but at slightly different positions than at the start of their careers. “We moved Amie from playing midfield to playing right half last spring and she was great there,” said Cook. “She’s really fast and has great hands. It was tough moving her from the midfield into the back, but I think she really got going at right half last spring, so that’s probably going to be where she competes for a position this year. “Liz started almost every game for us at right half last year,” Cook continued. “Now she’s been playing more at left half, so she’s a little more versatile than she was before. She brings a lot to the table. She’s a really smart player.” With two goals last fall, Gabby Palumbo tied Murphy for the freshman lead in scores. One of those came against powerhouse Syracuse, something that does not really surprise Cook, who calls her a natural scorer and is hoping to get her more involved in the offense during her sophomore season. Fellow sophomores Hope Obernesser and Cassie Lawrence will look to get in the mix more this season. Both saw limited field time in 2011, but both also continue to develop the necessary skills to change that. “Cassie had a good developmental year last year. She’s incredibly athletic and is always giving it her all,” said Cook before also praising Obernesser’s progress. “We saw big gains in Hope’s confidence and her willingness to really go for it up front.” Joining Bucknell for their first season in the Orange and Blue is the quintet of Emily Hitchings, Shannon Keen, Kayla Sullivan, Kiersten Sydnor and Abby Watson. Sydnor, Watson and Hitchings will add some speed to the Bucknell front line. Of Sydnor, Cook says the Shippensburg, Pa., native “has another gear to her. She’s one of those players who can just turn it on and go really fast.” A third-generation Bucknellian whose mother also played field hockey for the Bison, Hitchings is known as a steady, athletic player who should be able to contribute at forward or midfield. Watson’s strength is her creativity and ability to make good decisions beyond her years on the field. Adding to the mix will be Sullivan, considered to have “a great defensive attitude,” and Keen, who will come up the ranks in goal behind Perrine. “She’s really athletic and a smart goalkeeper,” Cook said of Keen. “It’s just a matter of putting the time in and making the transition from high school to the college game.” The transition to the college game for all five should be a quick one. Bucknell opens its season on Aug. 25 at Connecticut, which lost to North Carolina in double overtime in the 2011 NCAA Championship Semifinals. Patriot League play opens Sept. 29 against Colgate at Graham Field.

During the summer of 2010, Cook served as the head coach of the Pennsylvania Junior Team at the USA Field Hockey High Performance Championships and led the squad to the title. Hired as an assistant coach at Indiana University in February 2007, Cook has also had assistant coaching stints at Penn (200506), Drexel (2000-01), American (1999) and Cornell (1997-98). About Bucknell

The Bucknell University Department of Athletics and Recreation prides itself on setting the standard of excellence when it comes to success both on the playing fields and in the classroom. With 17 Patriot League Presidents’ Cups in 22 years, national leadership in graduation rates, 121 Academic All-Americans since 1970 and 127 Patriot League Scholar-Athletes in 22 years, Bucknell is clearly at the head of the class in terms of upholding the scholarathlete model. The 2003 addition of the Kenneth G. Langone Athletics and Recreation Center, one of the finest collegiate athletics and recreation venues of its kind, ensures the continuation of that success. The facility enhances each of Bucknell’s 27 varsity programs and greatly expands the scope of its growing intramural and recreational sports offerings. A visually appealing structure located along Moore Avenue on the “downhill” side of campus, the Langone Athletics and Recreation Center was designed to reach out to all members

of the campus community, including the student body, varsity student-athletes, faculty, staff and alumni. Three primary venues lie within the facility: the Arthur D. Kinney Jr. Natatorium, the 4,000-seat Gary A. Sojka Pavilion and the Krebs Family Fitness Center. Other features include a new location for the Bucknell Athletics Hall of Fame, a display of Bucknell’s Congressional Medal of Honor recipients, a sports medicine and athletic training suite, classrooms, modern offices for coaches and staff and increased locker room space for varsity and recreational athletes. The facility is named in honor of Ken Langone, a 1957 Bucknell graduate who, along with his wife Elaine, pledged $11 million toward the center’s construction. Langone was a member of the university Board of Trustees from 1980 to 1996. One of the special qualities of the Langone Athletics and Recreation Center is the manner in which it supplements the pre-existing facilities. The new construction surrounds Gerhard Fieldhouse and historic Davis Gymnasium, which has been restored as a competition venue for the Bison volleyball and wrestling teams, as well as intramural, recreation and other varsity practice activities. As Bucknell continues to strive toward its mission of setting the standard of excellence in college athletics, the Langone Athletics and Recreation Center is the centerpiece in an already impressive cache of athletics facilities that includes the 13,100-seat Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium and its FieldTurf and 8-lane track surface; the scenic Bucknell Golf Club and new Instructional Golf Center; Depew Field, the home of the Bison baseball team; and the spacious West Fields Complex, which encompasses Depew Field (baseball), Becker Field (softball) and the adjoining Graham Field (Astroturf for field hockey and women’s lacrosse) and Emmitt Field (natural grass for soccer) at Holmes Stadium that now features a new stadium/press box facility.

Life After Bucknell

Graduates of Bucknell University have the highest earning potential in the nation, a new research survey revealed in July 2008. The 2008 Education and Salary Report, prepared and released by Seattlebased PayScale Inc., named Bucknell graduates No. 1 among graduates of top U.S. liberal arts colleges by salary potential. The top liberal arts college category showed that the starting median salary for Bucknell graduates was $54,100, while the mid-career median salary was $110,000. Bucknell was followed by Colgate University at $52,800 and $108,000 and Amherst at $54,500 and $107,000, respectively. The salary report, the first issued by the company, also ranked Bucknell 13th among all Northeastern colleges and universities for salary potential. Dartmouth College, Princeton University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Yale University, and Harvard University were Nos. 1-5, respectively. Except for Cooper Union (No. 9), Bucknell was the only predominantly undergraduate institution in the top 14 in this category. National Reputation A number of recent reports have served to underscore Bucknell’s national reputation: • In 2007, The Washington Monthly ranked Bucknell No. 7 among the best liberal arts colleges in the country when it comes to fostering research and promoting an ethic of service and social mobility. • In 2008, the Peace Corps listed Bucknell at No. 6 on its top 25 list of small colleges and universities producing Peace Corps Volunteers. • In 2008, Kiplinger’s Personal Finance magazine rated Bucknell as the 11th best value in private liberal arts colleges.

The Plan for Bucknell

Bucknell is a unique national university where liberal arts and professional programs complement each other, where 3,350 full-time students are educated for a lifetime of critical thinking and strong leadership. For 160 years, the University has remained true to its fundamental purpose: to educate and prepare students for lives that make a difference and have a positive impact on the world. In keeping with that purpose, the University has developed The Plan for Bucknell, which includes its collective vision — “To provide students with the premier undergraduate experience in American higher education.” The Plan comprises five strategies. Strengthen the Academic Core aims to ensure that a Bucknell education is challenging and engaging, with openness to new ideas and a culture of innovation; Deepen the Residential Learning Experience will provide a residential learning and living experience that complements the academic program, integrates the athletics and recreation program and promotes personal growth and development and civic and ethical responsibility; Enhance Diversity is a commitment to diversity in all its forms within a civil and supportive environment of open exchange to prepare Bucknell graduates to live and work in a globally integrated and intercultural world; Build Bridges will bring the world to Bucknell — through visiting scholars and sports teams, international students and alumni, guest speakers, international focus semesters, and electronic communications — and bring Bucknell to the world through strategic partnerships and community engagement activities as well as opportunities for off-campus study and faculty research; Secure Our Financial Future will secure resources necessary to engage new opportunities, lessen dependence on tuition, and ensure our financial future. The Plan for Bucknell was unanimously approved by the Board of Trustees on April 29, 2006, having previously been approved by the students and faculty. We have begun implementing it and are determined to make it a reality over the next decade.
