Dance Musical Theatre

From ballet to jazz and street, our core dance programme helps you develop in a variety of dance forms. You’ll perfect your technique through regular practical classes and masterclasses with industry professionals in our dance studios on campus.

But we’ll also ensure you are prepared for a career in the dance and/or fitness industries by teaching you about entrepreneurship, marketing and how to look after your body.

Whether you want to go on to perform, teach, choreograph or manage, we will give you the skills to create your own portfolio career and ensure you are able to adapt to any challenges that may arise.

After all, this degree is the perfect launch pad to go into the field as a self-employed professional or build your own dance or fitness related business.

Our musical theatre programme combines and develops your skills in acting, singing, and dancing, helping you become a creative and self-motivated individual, ready to break into the Musical Theatre industry. During your time with us you’ll delve into jazz technique, singing and voice through a range of skills-based classes.

Studying on this course means you’ll automatically become a member of our repertory musical theatre company, where you’ll have the opportunity to take part in both small and large-scale productions, Putting your newly learnt skills into practice for excited audiences.

As well as this you will engage with industry professionals via a programme of workshops, seminars, lectures and performances. You will work collaboratively with a professional creative team to design, create and produce high quality productions.

Upon graduation you’ll be a versatile performer, ready to take on career opportunities in all areas of musical theatre, from West End productions to touring companies and even teaching.
