Architectural Design Technology

Designed to provide you with a sound knowledge of the architectural design process, you’ll also acquire the necessary skills required to help you become a professional architectural technologist. You can build skills in design and detailing of buildings, as well as gain an understanding of construction technology.

By the time you graduate, you will be able to design and create the building blueprints using the latest and key industry software and have professional competencies such as project management and professional practice, making you a key candidate for employers.

BUILDING & CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING

We’ll help you develop the digital and sustainability skills you need to become a built environment professional. You can gain the knowledge you need to be able to shape and engineer the environment around you through projects and research. With a focus on the engineering, technology and management of buildings, these courses prepare you to take up employment with construction companies.

ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONIC ENGINEERING

Electrical & Electronic Engineering is a fascinating and challenging field of study. Here at BNU you’ll have access to our Engineering IT studio with state-of-theart 3D printers, brand new CAD/CAM equipment, MATLAB Simulink, PSCAD, LabView and solidworks software. You will also have access to our modern Electromechanical laboratory that is equipped with Electropneumatic, Electrical Machines and Drives, Smart factory/Industry 40, PLC, Automation, Robotics and Mechatronic Systems.

In the first year of study you will learn alongside students studying in other areas of Engineering such as Engineering Design and Building and Construction. In the final year of study, you will have the opportunity to specialise in either Electrical Power Systems, Instrumentation and Control and Space Systems Engineering. You will also have the opportunity to experience a short industry placement and complete a live industry project brief. Our exciting course will give you the skills and knowledge you need to secure a fulfilling career in this interesting industry.
