INTRODUCTION UB Athletics is poised for considerable growth in the coming years. As we continue to set and achieve new standards of success, we must be prepared to address many of the challenges that come with the advancement of a Division I intercollegiate athletic program. Central to this task is identifying the physical needs of the department moving forward. Outlined in the following pages is a comprehensive, yet flexible, master plan that addresses both nearterm and long-term goals and objectives for our facilities infrastructure. Guiding principles for planning: • Optimize opportunities for success; • Enhance the overall quality of the student-athlete experience; • Maximize space and resources; • Align with the department’s strategic plan and expectations.
