Former Plainfield Central standout Nate Fox was fatally shot last week as he returned home from work in northwest suburban Bloomingdale. Fox, 37, was shot to death in his driveway in the 200 block of Tamarack Lane shortly after 9:30 p.m. on Dec. 22, according to authorities.
