Speedway fuel station ordinance adopted By Megan Patsavas For The Enterprise
The Gas City station never happened, but a new fuel station is on its way to Plainfield. Plainfield’s Village Board voted to adopt an ordinance approving a major change to
the planned development, allowing Speedway to develop a fuel station at the southeast corner of Route 30 and Renwick Road, at their Monday, Jan. 6, meeting. The vote was 5-1, with all trustees except for Dan Rippy supporting the ordinance.
