now called the university of st. francis. after graduating with a bachelor of arts in latin in 1935, also studying greek, math and biology, cook said she continued her education.

The period of controversy regarding a Wheatland Township facility is officially over after the township sold its property at 31W236 91st St. in Naperville on Jan. 6. Purchased by the township in the mid1970s for approximately $25,000, the property was formerly home to the offices of the supervisor, clerk, assessor and the highway department, and has had quite a tumultuous history with the township. In August 2011, residents, upset by an estimated $1.5 million cost of constructing a new township facility (proposed to be located at 103rd Street and Route 59), voted to sell the 103rd Street land and renovate the 91st Street property instead. However, these renovations never happened, and in August 2012, the 91st Street facility was cited with 27 serious code violations. Although the cost to remedy the violations was reported to exceed the cost of building a new facility,
