Plainfield mother reflects on son’s transformation since joining the Marines
By Megan Patsavas For The Enterprise Shelves filled with more than 1,000 bolts of fabric line the walls, organized by color and giving the room a sort of rainbow effect. Quilting samples, patterns and other products are carefully hung throughout, with “Sally” – a long-arm quilting machine – taking up a sizable amount of space in the back. This scene, the inside of Harvest House Quilting, 24231 Apple Tree Lane, may seem somewhat unexpected from the shop’s exterior, given the business is run entirely out of the Plainfield home of Colleen and John Plucinski.
