eorgia Countryman Donisch was 9 years old when she received the devastating news. “I remember that day. I was over at the Dodge house.Their daughter Anne and I were friends. “We were playing when Mrs. Dodge came in and said my family needed me to leave, but I had to go to grandpa’s house. “When I arrived, the minister said,‘We need to talk to you with your grandpa.’ ” she said.
