Hot weather doesn’t hamper Plainfield Fest By Suzanne Baker Enterprise reporter

Plainfield seems to have the perfect recipe for another successful Plainfield Fest: add one part carnival with one part musical and sporting entertainment; sprinkle with

business and craft vendors; and turn up the heat and bake for three days. Fest organizer Robert Epley estimated the festival drew between 10,000 and 12,000 people to downtown Plainfield See SUN, page 2
