The Marauders (0-5, 0-2 PSAC East) have struggled this season, being outscored 254-39, and are in a particularly tough part of their schedule, facing their second top-10 ranked opponent in as many weeks. Millersville fell at No. 7 IUP last Saturday, 62-3. Bloomsburg aims to stretch its five-game winning streak to begin the season, averaging 42.6 points per game on offense while surrendering just 16.8 points per contest to opponents. tenure of any coach in Bloomsburg history. Greg Breitbach is in his first year leading Millersville, becoming the 21st head coach of the Marauders on April 3. He spent the last five seasons as offensive coordinator at the University of North Dakota in the FCS, leading the UND offense to an average of 33.5 points and 430.5 yards of offense per game while competing in the Big Sky Conference. Prior to his time at North Dakota, he was the offensive coordinator at Division III Wisconsin-Stevens Point after spending the 1999-2002 seasons as special teams coordinator, receivers and running backs coach at Lewis & Clark College. LAST YEAR’S MEETING

Bloomsburg registered a 38-14 victory at Millersville on Oct. 6, 2012, after roaring to a 35-0 lead at halftime. The Huskies made sure the Marauders were never able to gain any traction, taking their first drive of the game 60 yards in seven plays, capped by a Franklyn Quiteh touchdown run. Tim Kelly tossed for back-to-back scores, including a 3-yard touchdown pass to Larry Webster, and Quiteh broke a 62-yard touchdown run all before intermission. Quiteh finished with 143 yards and two scores on just 11 carries while Millersville quarterback Connor Casey compiled strong numbers by completing 30 of 43 attempts for 313 yards and two touchdowns, but was sacked three times by the Huskies’ defense.

BLOOMSBURG FOOTBALL GAME NOTES

HUSKIES CELEBRATE HOMECOMING Saturday is the 86th Homecoming at Bloomsburg University since the first one in 1928 and the 84th game, with two missed during World War II that were replaced by a soccer game and a naval training unit intersquad match. The Huskies’ record in the previous 83 games is 52-30-1. Against Millersville at Homecoming Bloomsburg is 9-7. Those are the most wins and total games for the Huskies against a single opponent on Homecoming. DUO ON SENIOR BOWL WATCH LIST Bloomsburg seniors Brian Clarke and Larry Webster have received spots on the 2014 Senior Bowl Watch List. The watch list includes more than 400 student athletes from nearly every level of college football. These are the players who are looking to fill the 110 roster spots that form the North and South squads for the nation’s premier all-star game. Rosters will be announced in January with the game held on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014 in Mobile, Ala., and televised on the NFL Network. NATIONAL RECOGNITION The Huskies remained No. 9 in the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) announced Monday. On Tuesday, the Huskies were ranked No. 11 in the latest edition of the D2Football. com national Top 25. The Huskies also began the season ranked in multiple other national polls. Lindy’s Football Annual tabbed BU at No. 10 in Division II while The Sporting News listed the Huskies at No. 17 in the country. HUSKIES IN ELITE COMPANY Bloomsburg entered the 2013 season having won seven or more games in 14 consecutive seasons. Only five schools in the divisions of the NCAA have longer streaks: Florida, Florida State and Virginia Tech in the FBS; NW Missouri in Division II; and Mt. Union in Division III. The 14-year streak is also a PSAC record, breaking IUP’s mark of 13 set from 1984-1996. IT ALL STARTS UP FRONT The strength of the Huskies for many years has stemmed from its running game. Quiteh is the first to credit the work of the line in front of him for their part in his record-setting career. The veteran trio of Brian Clarke, Matt Feiler and Chris Steck have 100 starts among them during their BU careers. Steck leads the team with 41 consecutive starts, never missing from the starting lineup during his three-plus year tenure in maroon and gold. Last season, the Huskies ranked fifth in Division II rushing offense at 315.75 yards per game and set the single-season PSAC rushing record with 3,789 yards. The O-Line also surrendered just two sacks over the season’s final seven games, leading the PSAC and ranking seventh in Division II at 0.67 sacks allowed per game. 63 Ryan Geiger........................................ SECONDARY MAKING NOISE Bloomsburg picked up two key interceptions during the first half at Gannon as part of an eight-minute period where the Huskies broke open a scoreless game with 21 straight points. Jonathan Patrick and DJ Robinson each picked off passes from Golden Knights quarterback Liam Nadler, including a 34-yard return by Patrick. The Huskies now have eight interceptions on the year, all by defensive backs, ranking second in the PSAC behind only IUP (12). Tomas Cabrera leads the team with three picks while Robinson and Tyler Knoblauch each have two along with Patrick’s first interception last week. RUN THE BALL, STOP THE RUN The Huskies have become one of the most successful programs in the PSAC thanks in large part to a physical style and ability to control at the point of attack. This has been evident so far through five games this year as the Huskies have been one of the best teams in the nation at running the ball as well as stopping the run. Bloomsburg ranks second in the country in rushing offense at 367.8 yards per game on the ground, behind only Harding’s 404.0. On the other side of the ball, BU has stifled the running game of opponents, allowing only 67.0 yards per contest, a mark which ranks fifth in the country. LARRY THE SACK KING Senior defensive end Larry Webster picked up his seventh and eighth sacks of the year last week at Gannon, enough to keep him in a tie with Shippensburg’s Jake Metz for the PSAC sack lead. He currently is tied for first in the nation in sacks per game along with Metz and Darius Allen of Colorado St.-Pueblo. In 17 career games, Webster has tallied 21.5 sacks. DEFENSE STEALS THE SHOW When Bloomsburg traveled to PSAC West foe Gannon in Week 5, many figured it would be a shootout with both teams entering the game averaging 40 points per game through the first four weeks. The Huskies defense stifled Gannon, limiting the Golden Knights to season-lows in rushing yards (72), total yards (276) and points (14). FIRST TRIPS TO PAYDIRT Three Huskies scored their first career touchdowns in the 38-14 victory at Gannon in Week 5. Redshirt sophomore fullback Derek Burkhard made his first career reception one to remember by taking a screen pass 42 yards for the game’s first scoring play. Redshirt freshman tight end Aaron Allison found the end zone in the fourth quarter with a juggling 20-yard touchdown catch. Finally, redshirt freshman running back Joe Parsnik broke off a 34-yard scoring run to finish the scoring – also registering his longest career rush in the process. 9 Gary Postell..............................................Po-stell 28 Franklyn Quiteh............................ MAKING HISTORY Senior running back Franklyn Quiteh is re-writing the PSAC record books this season by setting the conference’s all-time record for most career rushing yards. Quiteh broke the record with an eight-yard carry in the fourth quarter at Edinboro in Week 2 as part of a 231-yard performance. He now sets his sights on the all-time Division II record books, moving to ninth place all-time in D-II history with 251 yards at Gannon. Quiteh is currently the leading active rusher in all NCAA divisions (FBS, FCS, II, III) - by a wide margin. His career total is over 1,000 yards more than his closest follower, Melikke Van Alstyne of NCAA Division III’s Framingham State (5,273). Quiteh also is the NCAA active leader in rushing yards per game (159.2), all-purpose yards (6,695), rushing touchdowns (71) and total TDs (74). Quiteh has rushed for over 100 yards in a school-record 22 straight games and 37 of 40 career games. Career Stats 2010 2011 2012 2013

With his 21-yard field goal at Kutztown on Sept. 21, Danny Fisher broke the all-time conference record for career 3-pointers, connecting on his 51st with the Huskies. The previous mark had been held by Ed Detwiler of ESU for over two decades. Fisher captured the career kicking points record the previous week at Edinboro. He currently leads all Division II active players in field goals and is sixth among active players in all divisions. Among active leaders in total points in Division II, Franklyn Quiteh leads all players with 444 and Fisher ranks fourth at 314.

LOWERY SEES FIRST ACTION Sophomore defensive tackle Jeremiah Lowery saw his first action of the year at Gannon after missing the first four weeks of the year due to an injury suffered in pre-season. Lowery made two tackles on the day as the Huskies worked him back into the defensive rotation. The Sharon Hill native was a strong contributor as a freshman last fall, making 21 tackles with 0.5 sacks and a fumble recovery in his Huskies debut. THEY KEEP THE HOME FIRES BURNING The 2013 season is the 40th in the history of Redman Stadium. In 2012 Bloomsburg was 5-0 at home, the 10th year the team has been undefeated. The Huskies all-time record in Redman Stadium is now 136-66-4. WORKING QUICK Though Bloomsburg is known for its bruising running attack, the Huskies have been able to score quickly as often as any team in the PSAC this season. So far on the year, Bloomsburg has tallied 34 scoring drives – of those scoring drives, 21 have taken just 2:59 or less including 12 scoring drives of under two minutes. ANOTHER DAY AT THE OFFICE Franklyn Quiteh has been a model of consistency during his time in maroon and gold. The senior running back has set the school and conference records for career rushing yardage due to his consistency – his 251-yard performance on the ground at Gannon last week marked the 37th time Quiteh has surpassed 100 yards rushing. For his career entering the Millersville game, Quiteh has rushed for 100 or more yards in 37 of his 40 games with the Huskies, including 22 straight contests. The Gannon game was the 10th time Quiteh has gone over 200 yards rushing in a contest including back-to-back games. STARTING OFF RIGHT With the Huskies win over Lock Haven in Week 4, interim head coach Paul Darragh became the first coach in Bloomsburg history to begin his tenure at the helm of the program with a 4-0 record. Jack Yohe (1952), Thornley Booth (1926) and George Harry (1909) previously started 3-0 but all lost their fourth games. FISHER ON MITCHELL AWARD HONOREE LIST Danny Fisher was named to the Fred Mitchell Award honoree list for the month of September for his work on the field and in the community. Fisher kicked five of six field goal attempts and finished the month with 37 total points. Away from the field, he raised over $3,500 for the

East Stroudsburg stands second by converting 50.0 percent (41 of 82) of its third downs. TURNING RED INTO POINTS When in the red zone this season, the Huskies have not squandered scoring opportunities. Through the first five games of the year, Bloomsburg has scored in 19 of its 21 trips to the red zone, good for a 90.5 percent success rate. The Huskies have punched into the end zone 14 out of their 21 red zone trips. The only two times BU has not scored in the red zone was while running out the clock at the end of the game vs. Stonehill and at Gannon. PUTTING IN EARLY WORK Franklyn Quiteh put up 159 yards during the first half of the Week 4 win over Lock Haven on the way to 205 yards on the day in just 11 carries. The performance put Quiteh over 100 yards rushing before halftime for the 15th time in his career – it was the second-most first half yards in Quiteh’s BU career, following only his 186-yard first half showing in a win at Millersville on Sept. 25, 2010. The all-time PSAC leading rusher also now has 10 200-yard games in his career with a career-high of 282 coming vs. East Stroudsburg on Oct. 13, 2012. QUITEH 6K With 205 yards rushing against Lock Haven, Franklyn Quiteh became the first player in PSAC history to rush for 6,000 yards in a career. He finished the day with 6,116 yards and is now one of 13 players in Division II history to reach the milestone. IT’S OLD HAT Danny Fisher has kicked at least one field goal in 27 games, stretching out his own school record. He broke the record with two field goals in the season-opening win vs. Stonehill, breaking the previous mark of 24 set by Jon Koenig from 2006-09. He enters the Millersville game with 52 career 3-pointers. LIGHTING UP THE SCOREBOARD The Week 4 offensive output by the Husky offense was one to remember, posting 56 points against Lock Haven. It marked the first time Bloomsburg’s offense hit the 50-point total since scoring 55 in a win at West Chester on Oct. 22, 2011 when it rallied from 35 points down to tally the biggest rally in Division II history. The last time Bloomsburg scored more than 56 points was in a 61-35 win vs. Kutztown on Nov. 6, 2010.

BLOOMSBURG FOOTBALL GAME NOTES GETTING OFF ON THE RIGHT FOOT Redshirt freshman Andrew Harris made a strong first impression during Bloomsburg’s season-opening win over Stonehill, debuting with the Huskies by leading the team in tackles with eight along with a tackle for loss and pass breakup. Harris earned the start in Week One as a late addition to the lineup at the will linebacker position. In Week Two, Harris backed up Garrett Pope, but continued to make waves. He quickly established a new career-high in tackles with 11 including 1.5 tackles for loss. After five games, Harris ranks second on the team in tackles with 41, behind only team captain middle linebacker Justin Shirk (42). WAGNER HANDLES THE PUNTING One of two true freshmen on the active roster to start the season, Will Wagner has taken over the Huskies’ punt duties. The native of Wernersville has impressed in his first five games, averaging 39.6 yards per punt in 16 attempts. He booted a new career long of 59 yards at Kutztown, his third punt of 50-plus yards, and has pinned the opposition inside the 20 seven times. TAKING IT TO THE HOUSE Junior safety Tomas Cabrera capped off the scoring in the Huskies’ 56-10 win over Lock Haven by taking an interception 82 yards for the pick six. The interception, Cabrera’s third in his first year with BU, was the first Huskies interception return for a touchdown since Jarrett Pidgeon took an INT 39 yards for a score. HUTTON’S TRIPLE PLAY Glenn Hutton Jr. made his three receptions vs. Lock Haven count, taking all of them in for touchdowns. He caught three balls on the day for 67 yards and touchdown grabs of 33, 25 and nine yards respectively. The showing not only was a career-best for the senior receiver, but also the first time a Huskies player has hauled in three touchdowns in a game since Kyle Fisher accomplished the feat vs. LIU Post on Sept. 22, 2012. CONTINUING THE TRADITION While there is new leadership for the Huskies on the sidelines this season under interim head coach Paul Darragh, much has remained the same with the BU attack. Under former head coach Danny Hale, the Huskies made their name with a power running game. During Hale’s tenure, 23 separate players put up at least one game of 100 or more yards rushing. Following Joe Parsnik’s 101-yard performance vs. Lock Haven, Darragh already has three 100 yard rushers with Parsnik, Franklyn Quiteh and Dai’Shon Munger.

GOING THE DISTANCE The Huskies sealed their victory at Kutztown with a back-breaking 98-yard touchdown drive in seven plays, capped by a 7-yard pass from Tim Kelly to Tony Peregrin. The scoring drive gave BU a 24-6 lead early in the fourth quarter and marks the longest scoring drive for Bloomsburg this season. The drive featured a 65-yard run from Franklyn Quiteh, also the longest play from scrimmage this year from the Huskies. The impressive drive was the first scoring drive by the Huskies of 90 yards or longer since doing so in a win over Gannon on Sept. 29, 2012 and the longest scoring drive since going 99 yards in nine plays in a 38-18 win vs. Shippensburg on Oct. 15, 2011. REMEMBER THE FIRST TIME Both Connor Gades and Tony Peregrin made their first career visits to the end zone at Kutztown with touchdown receptions vs. the Golden Bears. Gades’ scoring reception was perhaps the key play of the game – with BU leading 10-6 and facing third-and-15, quarterback Tim Kelly found Gades in space over the middle for a 34-yard strike to make the score 17-6 and Kutztown would never move any closer. Peregrin’s TD catch gave the Huskies some insurance as he scored from seven yards out early in the fourth quarter. Gades also set career highs for receptions (four) and receiving yards (57). COLORING THE RECORD BOOK MAROON AND GOLD Franklyn Quiteh has plenty of BU company atop the PSAC rushing list. Now that Quiteh owns the career conference rushing record, the Huskies occupy three out of the top four all-time PSAC rushing spots - Quiteh, Jamar Brittingham (5,689 yards from 2004-07, second) and Irv Singler (5,105 from 1994-97, fourth). HUSKIES START NEW FACES When Bloomsburg took the field for the season opener vs. Stonehill, eight first-time starters were in the Huskies lineup. Ryan Geiger started at left guard and Dakota Hoagland was at right tackle. Connor Gades got the start at wide receiver and Jack Sandherr was the other offensive newcomer at tight end. Defensively, Larry Webster transitioned to a starting role at defensive end, Shawn Mitchell was at defensive tackle, Andrew Harris at will linebacker and Dylan Spangler at the buck

linebacker. All of the offensive newcomers are redshirt sophomores as is Harris while Webster is a graduate student and Mitchell and Spangler are both redshirt juniors. Three more players made their first career start the following week at Edinboro when redshirt sophomore Garrett Pope started at the will linebacker and fellow redshirt sophomores Will Ridgeway and Donovan Morris got the starts at defensive tackle and safety respectively. WEBSTER WINS DEFENSIVE AOW Larry Webster earned PSAC East Defensive Athlete of the Week honors following Week 3 after scoring four sacks at Kutztown. The tally marked a new career-high for Webster, beating his previous best of three sacks set at Slippery Rock last season. Along with the four sacks, he also had five tackles, a pass breakup and an additional quarterback hurry while the sacks totaled a loss of 28 yards for the Kutztown offense. CABRERA, QUITEH SWEEP PSAC EAST WEEKLY AWARDS The Huskies swept the PSAC Eastern Division Athlete of the Week awards in Week 2 with Franklyn Quiteh earning offensive honors and Tomas Cabrera snagging the defensive accolades. Quiteh’s selection was a near nobrainer after leading the conference with 231 rushing yards along with three touchdowns at Edinboro while establishing a new conference career rushing record. Cabrera earned his award by registering eight tackles to go along with a fumble recovery and interception, both in key situations, to help lead the Huskies to a 47-35 victory on the road. UNWELCOME GUESTS Chances are Edinboro won’t soon forget its meeting with visiting Bloomsburg in Week 2. Not only did Franklyn Quiteh rush for 231 yards to break the PSAC career rushing record that afternoon, but the effort spearheaded Bloomsburg’s 383 yards of rushing. The 383 yards surrendered on the ground by the Fighting Scots were the third-most ever by any Edinboro opponent. CAREER DAY FOR MUNGER Redshirt sophomore Dai’Shon Munger steps into a larger role this season as the primary compliment to Franklyn Quiteh in the Huskies’ backfield. Munger made the most

BLOOMSBURG FOOTBALL GAME NOTES

of his expanded opportunities against Stonehill in Week 1, piling up new career highs in attempts (21) and rushing yards (135). His previous best day came against Millersville last season when he finished with 12 carries for 71 yards. Munger nearly broke his own career bests just one week later, picking up 133 yards on 21 carries vs. Edinboro in Week 2. He did set an important personal best - Munger reached the end zone twice for the first time in his young career. HUTTON SETS CAREER BESTS Senior wide receiver Glenn Hutton Jr. has stepped into a leadership role this year as the only wide out with starting experience on the roster entering the season. Hutton looked the part of veteran leader vs. Stonehill in Week 1, tying a career-high in receptions (five) and setting a new personal best for receiving yards (124) while also hauling in a 56-yard touchdown pass from Tim Kelly. Hutton’s previous best day came last year vs. Millersville (five catches, 120 yards). MR. ALL-AMERICAN Offensive tackle Brian Clarke has established himself as one of the top offensive linemen in the country over the past two seasons and recently earned a bit of national recognition. Clarke earned a spot on this year’s preseason All-American list produced by The Sporting News. CABRERA MAKES AN IMPACT Junior safety Tomas Cabrera is new to the Huskies, but isn’t without college experience. Cabrera comes to Bloomsburg after transferring from Division I Temple. At Temple, Cabrera played primarily on special teams. He was one of five true freshmen to see action for the Owls in 2010, forcing two fumbles, and also played in six games in 2011. Cabrera joined the Huskies this spring and immediately made a big play in his first game – a momentum-changing interception vs. Stonehill. With the Skyhawks looking to tie or take the lead in Huskies territory late in the first quarter, Cabrera made a diving interception at his own 16 to end the threat. Bloomsburg would score a touchdown on its next possession and never relinquished control. DII’S FINEST During preseason, D2Football.com unveiled its top 100 players in all of NCAA Division II. The Huskies were extremely well represented in that poll, placing three players in the top 11 and five in the top 100 – including taking the top spot. Senior running back Franklyn Quiteh earned the honor as the No. 1 player in the poll, being credited for his speed, vision and ability to break tackles. The two-time Harlon Hill finalist was joined by defensive end Larry Webster (No. 9), offensive guard Brian Clarke (No. 11), center Chris Steck (No. 94) and defensive tackle Chris Kennedy (No. 96). When the D2Football.com preseason All-America teams came out in August, the Huskies also had strong representation - Quiteh and Clarke were each first team selections while Steck and Webster landed on the second team.

RACKING UP THE YARDAGE The Huskies had no trouble moving the ball in their 41-13 win over Stonehill in the season opener, racking up 642 total yards of offense. That performance ranks among the top offensive outputs in PSAC history – the showing ties for 30th all-time in the PSAC record books for team yardage gained in a single contest,

tying Edinboro’s 642-yard output in 1994 vs. American International. The conference record for yards in a game belongs to California (PA), which put up 757 yards vs. Mansfield in 2005. The most yards put up by a BU team in a single game is 685, which came in a game vs. Kutztown in 2010. ‘D’ STRONG VS. STONEHILL Much of the attention following the season-opening win over Stonehill centered around Bloomsburg’s offense, rushing for 457 yards and posting 642 total yards of offense. Defensively, the Huskies were just as sound. Bloomsburg limited Stonehill to just 198 yards of offense, the fewest yards allowed by the Huskies since giving up only 93 yards vs. Shippensburg on Oct. 16, 2010 – a span of 29 games. CALL ‘EM CAPTAINS Seniors Franklyn Quiteh and Chris Steck along with junior Justin Shirk have been named tri-captains for this season. Steck also served as a team captain a season ago. MAN OF MANY TALENTS Justin Shirk has found athletic success on more than just the football field - he won the 2012 NCAA Division II national championship in the javelin thrown with a toss of 235-11 feet or 71.90 meters. As such, he was selected by DailyRelay.com as part of its “Preseason Track Football Team,” honoring the top two-sport (football and track/field) stars in the country among all divisions. He was one of four linebackers selected along with Courtland Clavette (Brown), Jared Minori (Susquehanna) and Cody Britt (Bethel). PUT IT ON THE BOARD Bloomsburg has scored at least 14 points in 40 straight games dating to Nov. 7, 2009 against Gannon. Last year, the Huskies scored 20 or more points in every game and averaged over 37 points per contest.

BLOOMSBURG FOOTBALL GAME NOTES

@BUSPORTSINFO • #BUHUSKIES

FROM THE ARCHIVES By Bloomsburg University Archivist Bob Dunkelberger The Huskies have scored 213 points in the first five games, the highest total in school history. The previous record was the 212 scored in 2005. The offense has run up more than 350 yards rushing in a game four times this year, tying the most in a single season over the past 20 years (2004). The football team has won five consecutive games to begin the season for the 13th time in school history and sixth time since 2005. The other seven years were in 1903, five times between 1948 and 1960, and 1985. The upcoming game with Millersville is the 76th in the series between the two schools, dating back to the first meeting in 1916. Bloomsburg’s record in the previous 75 games is 40-30-5, 23-11-4 at home and 17-19-1 on the road. The Huskies have won 13 straight games in the series since the last loss in 1999. Saturday is the 86th Homecoming at Bloomsburg University since the first one in 1928 and the 84th game, with two missed during World War II that were replaced by a soccer game and a naval training unit intersquad match. The Huskies’ record in the previous 83 games is 52-30-1. Against Millersville at Homecoming Bloomsburg is 9-7. Those are the most wins and total games against a single opponent. Wednesday, October 9, is the 80th anniversary of the husky being chosen as the Bloomsburg athletic mascot, and on October 13 it will be 80 years since Roongo made his first appearance.

Paul Darragh was named interim head coach of Bloomsburg University in February 2013 and overall will be starting his 17th season with the Huskies this year. Darragh has served as the Huskies’ defensive coordinator for the last 16 years. Under Darragh’s leadership the Huskies’ defense has ranked in the top-half of the PSAC in total defense seven of the past 11 seasons, including back-to-back second place finishes in 2000 and 2001 and a second place in 2009. The Huskies have also ranked among the best in the PSAC in run defense finishing first or second five times, including second in two of the last four seasons. The 2009 Huskies finished third nationally in scoring defense (13.36/game), pacing the PSAC. BU also led the conference in sacks, ranking 14th nationally (3.09 per game). In 2010 the Huskies were eighth in Division II in rushing defense (85.38 yards per game). Overall under Darragh’s leadership, the Bloomsburg defense finished in the top-15 in NCAA Division II six times since the 2000 season. Darragh has also coached 51 first team All-PSAC performers, seven All-Americans and two PSAC East Defensive Players of the Year in Anthony Smith (2009) and Mike Varanavage (2010). Prior to Bloomsburg, Darragh worked for two years at Indiana (PA) as the linebackers coach. He started his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Temple from 1987-89. From there, Darragh coached the linebackers at Northeastern and Gannon before being promoted to defensive coordinator at Gannon. He moved from Gannon to the defensive coordinator post at William Paterson College before joining the IUP staff. A three-year starter and captain for Temple, he graduated in 1985 after earning All-East honors as an inside linebacker.
