site at Leicester Road, Oadby LE2 4DF.
The site extends to approximately 1.26 acres and comprises the former Oadby Swimming Pool and Tennis Courts.
The building is of 1970s construction, framed and with a combination of brick and blockwork, with profiled sheet clad elevations under a low pitched roof. To the front and right is a tarmac car park for around 38 vehicles. To the rear are three tennis courts.
The swimming pool and car park parts of the site have been allocated for residential purposes under the current Oadby & Wigston Local Plan. The remainder of the site will, in principle, be suitable for further residential development. It is envisaged that the site overall may be suitable for apartments, traditional housing or retirement living. Offers will be sought by way of Informal Tender.
