Material Handling
The choice is easy. Regardless of the type of material you want to move, BuntingŽ conveyors can handle it. Bunting offers America’s most complete line of permanent magnetic conveyors and conveyor components. With over 50 years of experience handling just about any wholly or partially ferrous product or scrap. Even plastic assemblies with minimal ferrous components in them, like circuit breakers, can easily be conveyed with the magnetic rails with positive control. You can also save valuable floor space by moving materials vertical or up and over a machine. Magnetic conveyors help maintain a steady, uninterrupted flow of material and product often at higher rates than are practical with non-magnetic units. Bunting can custom design systems or tie several conveyors together for a total material handling solution. We can assist your plant engineers by providing you 3-D models and drawings to fit into your plant layout. Bunting conveyors have been enhancing plant efficiency for decades. There is simply no better way to handle a wide range of ferrous parts. And for those who do not require magnetics but still want superior durability, Bunting manufactures nonmagnetic models that have the same well designed features and engineer support.

Parts Retrieval Conveyors for De-burring Bowls
n Permanent magnetic head pulleys reach deep into bowls and
“grab” ferrous parts out of the de-burring media.
n The permanent magnetic conveyor takes the ferrous parts and
conveys them up and over the bowl rim. Then, it discharges
the parts into a bin or tote.
n Plate or loop demagnetizers can be installed in the conveyor
frame itself before the part is discharged or in a discharge
chute.
n Available in a more economical manual adjustable unit or more
automated with screw actuators that raise, lower and tilt the
unit with a push button controller. They come with a mobile
base to easily move the unit between multiple bowls.
Magnetic Lawnchair Conveyors (MLC) Designed for conveying steel parts from under machine presses, they have been specially designed to automate scrap and parts removal. There is no longer the need to have to struggle with heavy, hard-to-handle totes plus it also eliminates the common problem of part and scrap overflow on the production line.
n Parts or scrap are magnetically held to the belt and magnetically
transferred to the incline up and out from under a press.
n They can be run along the side of a die and be feed by multiple
Low Profile Conveyors up to a scrap dumpster.
n Powered brushes are recommended under the discharge pulley
where heavy concentrations of oil or small slugs are present.
n Optional skid plates are available where lower in-feed elevations
are required.
n Two models are available in single and double belts: • The Single-Belted MLC Conveyors are de- signed for applications involving parts or scrap 2’ in diameter or larger. • The Double-Belt MLC Conveyors are designed for applications where smaller parts and knockouts are encountered.

Material Handling
Delivering operational flexibility these parts retrieval conveyors are ideal for removing ferrous parts from de-burring and finishing vibratory bowls.

Mag-Slide Conveyors - Heavy Duty Built to handle the tough jobs, dirty and oily parts, jagged or abrasive scrap, and other punishing materials that could damage or jam conventional belted or steel hinged conveyors are no challenge for Bunting’s ruggedly constructed MagSlide® conveyors. ■ Ideal for use anywhere you need to transfer ferrous chips, turnings, and small parts from lathes, mills, or stamping presses or from slitting, forming, and other metalworking operations. ■ Chain-driven, permanent magnets inside the conveyor housing attract and move ferrous material along the conveyor’s stainless steel faceplate with no external moving parts and without an oil filled bath. ■ The 8” thick units come in 12”, 15”, 18”, 24”, 30” and 36” widths with optional hoppers and impact plates.
Style A ■ Usually straight horizontal feeder conveyors under a
large press bringing the scrap out to an inclined
conveyor to the dumpster.
■ Manganese sliderbed option for additional wear resistance. ■ Up and over stairs and mezzanines available.
Style B ■ Horizontal to incline brings scrap out from under press
into a tote.
■ Standard fixed supports or optimal mobile bases available. ■ Strong ceramic magnets on centers from 12” to 36”

Standard Frame Conveyors (SFC) Bunting® Pre-engineered Magnetic Standard Frame Conveyors are the “Conveyor of Choice” for making your plant more productive and profitable. Standard Framed Conveyors are used for conveying your ferrous parts such as bolts, nails, stamped parts or assemblies around the plant, from one machine to the next operation or to stabilize part in feeding applications and to convey larger ferrous scrap out of a press over to a dumpster. They are a very economical choice, thanks to low initial cost, low maintenance, and long-term durability. You can also save valuable floor space by moving materials vertical or up and over a machine. Magnetic conveyors help maintain a steady, uninterrupted flow of material and product often at higher rates than are practical with non-magnetic units.
Vertical Nose-over “SC” Conveyors ■ Designed with permanent magnetic rails to hold,
maintain control, turn over or conveyor your specific
parts.
■ Available in 30-45-60-75-90 degree angles and in belt
widths from 4” - 60” wide.
■ The 6-1/2” thick frames are constructed with modular
sections for layout and design flexibility.

Horizontal (MFC) ■ Available in a variety of horizontal and inclined sizes. ■ Could be combined with an assortment of magnetic rail options,
belts, side guards, supports, drive and control options.
■ Tough rubber vulcanized pulleys on precision bearings to handle
heavy loads on conveyors from 2’ long to 100’ long.
■ If magnetic stability and spacing is needed, these medium framed
conveyors are matched with one of our many permanent magnetic
Ceramic or NEO Rare Earth rails to properly hold and convey your
specific parts.
■ Available for use in inverted magnetic transfer conveyors for
transferring ferrous parts from one conveyor to the next by using
an overhead magnetic conveyor.

transferring non-ferrous parts wherever low clearance is a
factor.
■ Cleated belts can be used to keep parts moving smoothly on
horizontals and inclines.
■ Available also with magnetic holding power to hold and
stabilize parts and scrap as they drop out of the overhead die.
■ Both magnetic and non-magnetic models can be individually
