PROGRAM DISTRIBUTION

PORT TONIC, FRANCE

LIVE |WORK SPACE A house for an artist, by an artist. The residence blends the aspects of life and work of the artist, Karen LaMonte, by repurposing three existing buildings in the French Riviera that had fallen into disrepair. The program, which includes living, working, and exhibit spaces, has been manipulated to create a strong connection among the three buildings. This programmatic and physical ‘bridging’ allows the artist to circulate flawlessly from workspace to workspace, while also enticing the public to enter the site and interact with her work.
