Perfect the art of scrummaging with the Rhino Dictator, the official scrum machine of the British & Irish Lions, England Rugby and the Welsh Rugby Union. Now fitted with the hydraulic wheel system, the Rhino Dictator is a robust steel sled with four adjustable heights and vertical rounded, dual foam, detachable scrum pads. It also features a wider head and larger pads to accommodate a greater range of pack sizes and two ‘geared’ ground spikes for use on the move. A REVOLUTION IN SCRUM TRAINING FROM ANY ANGLE

Based on our popular Premiersled model, the Ngage machine has a mobile head which takes the simulation of scrummaging against a real pack to a new level. If technique isn’t correct, the head will drop, lift or rotate just as an opposition pack would. The machine therefore gives instant feedback on technique and provides an excellent tool to help coaches improve performance at the scrum as well as helping to develop the core strength of the pack. We were pleased to stage a photo-shoot at Pennyhill Park in the week leading up to the crucial game against France, and Rhino Japan MD Saburo Takahashi, whose team worked very closely with Eddie Jones and Steve Borthwick in Japan’s preparations for their magnificent performance at RWC2015 was able to renew his acquaintance with them at that time.

RHINO RUGBY HELPS JAPAN TO RUGBY WORLD CUP 2015 TRIUMPH Rhino first linked up with the Japan national squad a year before RWC2015, when as newly appointed Official Supplier, we delivered a full range of scrummaging, contact and training equipment to their training camp in Miyazaki City on the southern Island of Kyushu. Rhino Japan MD Saburo Takahashi and his
team worked closely with Eddie Jones and Steve Borthwick to ensure the Brave Blossoms had the best equipment for their preparations and we were as excited as the rest of the world of rugby when they achieved their historic victory over South Africa in Brighton on the first weekend of the tournament.

SUPER RUGBY’S CHIEFS INSTALL RHINO-TURF TRAINING AREA
Two years ago Ealing Trailfinders installed a full state of the art Rhino-Turf pitch and promptly won the 2014-15 National League One Title on it. We wish them well in their current attempts to stay in a very competitive Championship in the 2015-16 season.
The Chiefs, back-to-back Super Rugby Champions in 2011-12 and 2012-13, installed a Rhino-Turf training area at their training base in Hamilton in New Zealand two years ago. Chief’s Head Coach Dave Rennie commented: ‘We are delighted to have this Rhino-Turf all weather technical training surface to enable us to practice scrum, line out and forward drills throughout the year’.
