The Opportunity As Program Director for Government Business Development, you will identify and win key government contract opportunities. In this role, you will also command and manage all the moving parts of the contract through the full life cycle. We are searching for an entrepreneurial self-starter who can use his or her sales talent and government expertise to expand our fastest growing division. Responsibilities include: • Meeting and exceeding annual revenue goals • Targeting, coordinating, and developing capture strategy activities to include the identification of potential new solicitations and opportunities • Positioning Gallup as a trusted advisor to our clients in federal agencies, while anticipating the evolution of their needs • Leading government business development initiatives - including the planning and development stages • Managing the full contract life cycle: developing business relationships, executing proposals, contracting, managing resources, coordinating detail documentation, analyzing and evaluating contract performance from initial award to contract close • Providing strategic, innovative thinking and planning about the future growth of Gallup's Government Practice Qualifications Five plus years of experience selling to and contracting with the federal government and a bachelor's degree are required.
