• Legal Audits • Mergers & Acquisitions • Real Estate & Infrastructure Projects • Taxation
Mallyas & Co. prefers to call themselves as a “Boutique Consulting Firm”. The legal practice across various domains are well thought about and they have positioned the best talent to spearhead respective departments.
The firm has a mix of Legal and Paralegal workforce tied with them for over ten years. This is not unexpected, given the credentials of its founder / proprietor Adv. Shamita Mallya who is leading this dynamic team of young lawyers. Shamita has been a known name in the litigation, arbitration, family and corporate matters. Her ability to nurture talent is also evident and has proved to be a boon for the firm’s clients.
In her own words; “At Mallyas they have ensured that the team is well poised to take on emerging challenges the marketplace offers with a Human Touch much essential in our segment of practice.”
The Impeccable Leadership Shamita Mallya is an Indian lawyer, a qualified Journalist, Author, Educator, Policymaker and Women & Children Protectionist. She specializes in Cyber Laws, Corporate Law and Media Law practise. She
spearheads the Indian law firm, Mallyas & Co. Her mentor, guide and senior Adv. Kunda Pal, who was determined to get her to speed in understanding the nuances of core legal practice, helped Shamita make her place in an industry dominated by age-old law firms.
Having asked her of her interests, she states: “My interest is in simplification. As a lawyer we have the art of complicating things – but what has gotten us consumer confidence is simplifying the complex. People / corporations come to us with varied types of problems – but what I like is that they come to us having lost all their resources to depend on us for a solution. It is not just legal but our clients come over to discuss structures on overall understanding and conducting business with the right rules of the game. Besides my core profession I am a trained Indian classical dancer. Amidst the chaos of work – I still find time to fuel my passion.”
From the early stage of the incorporation of the firm, Shamita’s focus was not just on the application of the legal knowledge but augmenting the same with a perfectly curated process and project management framework, which stood out amongst the others. In an environment where the clients remained unaware of the future of the case, she was able to articulate the future of the case with her approach. This came as a huge respite to the clients, especially the corporate clients that the firm continues to consult.
The other area that Shamita emphasised was on understanding technology’s applications and to optimally utilise the same on the delivery of legal services (e.g. e-discovery, cyber-security, contract management, legal research, etc.). She states “these terms were unheard of ten years ago, when she started the practise.”
One of the most important aspects that has brought the firm to this position is that they concentrate a lot on emotional intelligence or ’people skills’ - which is widely overlooked as a critical legal skill. Shamita’s belief is that lawyers with high intellect (IQ) and people skills (EQ) will always thrive, no matter how pervasive technology becomes in legal delivery – and Mallyas & Co. is unmatched as far as this balance is considered.
Shamita’s view on challenges on responsibilities: Access to justice - The rule of law is undermined when a significant portion of society lacks meaningful access to legal representation. Such is the case in
India as well as most of the developed economies be it in the US or UK.
Defending the rule of law is democracy’s foundation and the mortar for its institutions. She firmly states that lawyers are its first responders and last defenders. The rule of law is under siege around the world, and lawyers—present and future-- must respond to the challenge.
Preserving a free press and insuring that social media and ‘fake news’ does not subvert fact, evidence, and democratic institutions - Defending a free press has long been a mission for lawyers. She states, “Social media has broadened that ongoing challenge. For many, social media is their ‘news’ source-- an ‘alternative press’ that lacks authenticity filters and can ‘go viral’ in minutes – diluting the core essence of the subject.” Social media is rapidly eclipsing traditional media, providing a global platform for ‘alternative facts,’ propaganda, and misinformation masquerading as ‘news’. She states that; “being a journalist herself, she makes sure that Mallyas is cognisant of the fact and does not allow the fact-agnostic court of public opinion to marginalize the judicial process”.
Ensuring adherence to ethical standards - Law is big business - but is also a profession governed by ethical standards. More often they are exposed to old and new ethical challenges—client pressure to ‘push the envelope,’ economics, and the ‘ethics of technology’ to mention but a few. But the firm’s constant focus is to adhere to ethical standards to protect the rule of law and to ensure that the dual role of law as a profession and a business is preserved. It is imperative that lawyers utilize available tools to provide greater access, collaboration, and alignment of interest with clients; that is their ethical duty to individual clients and to society.
Lastly it is their overall responsibility to streamline the judicial process, utilizing technology and process to make it more accessible, agile, faster, and cost-effective than the outdated court systems.
Challenges Conquered Mallyas and Co. is a first generation legal firm and doesn’t have any legacy; like in any other dominant field, the life of young Indian lawyer is really tough, especially for those who don’t have a godfather. The field of law is a closed sphere, complete with its own esoteric rules and rituals which are completely unfamiliar to an outsider. In the initial phase of their career, it was all about learning the hands-on work and Shamita’s absolute concentration was on maximising
the same. She states; “While a few months of internships or reading law books and commentaries just doesn’t cut it – it’s important for aspiring lawyers to understand that too much of a cushion in the form of internship also hampers independence of thoughts and it’s important to balance this act carefully while taking practical lessons”.
With globalization and the trend of India’s emergence on the international fora, shortcomings have come to light which immediately needs attention and address. Immense strides made, there is still enormous room for evolution and development of the legal profession. “What is needed is a vision based on philosophy,” as stated by Shamita.
Some of the other common issues that lawyers continuously face is changes made in the law of a particular state or country. It is extremely important for them to be up to date with frequently changing laws which sometimes involves a lot of research on the subject and is indeed time consuming. However, a summation of analysis, understanding and application of the research material is a testimony to the fact that a fair research on the subject has been conducted. A lawyer’s understanding and analysis of a case starts by identifying the relevant facts and determining the legal issues that need to be researched. However, one should not forget that the right conclusion depends upon the researcher’s ability to analyze the matter found during the research process.
Shamita suggests that for an effective research to be conducted the need for accurate and current data has emerged as a key concern, thus asking the researchers to acquire new skills for them to keep pace with the ongoing changes. Research is a critical skill all practicing lawyers must acquire, however attorneys who are hard pressed for time and cannot devote time to research can now outsource research projects to legal support services provider based in India. The benefit of outsourcing such projects shall save on cost and shall be delivered with the same output as these offshore vendors support a team of well qualified lawyers who are experts in doing research projects. The team at Mallyas does a lot of work around legal research and some of the leading firms utilise their services in this segment.
As a practising lawyer Shamita also feels that judges and administrators must take even greater steps to innovate the way that justice is dispensed. However, to innovate, lawyers need to better understand the public’s expectations regarding access points to justice and how they can address their legal needs. The
need is to make rendering justice less about how they always have done it and more about how it makes sense to do it now. They need to examine everything from court rules to regular court hours; financial forms to fines and fees. It’s important to determine if the assumptions, biases, practices, procedures, and traditions degrade justice-seekers, or worse yet, deny justice.
“The bottom line: It’s imperative that there is an emergence of a judicial system where the best building blocks of the system survive and the vestiges that no longer offer any value are abandoned. This transformation will instill a renewed sense of trust and confidence.”
Shamita Mallya
Way Forward: Shamita states, “When we started we were a bunch of few aspiring lawyers – who came ahead and wanted to carve out a niche for themselves.” Idea was to capture the market place which was less dominated by the biggies and segments were strong legal support was lacking. They started concentrating in the SME segment – which was their Blue Ocean. “In this segment people wanted to pay the right price for the services and we were bang on to partner them. The zeal was to do quality stuff and we knew once we have their confidence, money would follow. Our journey was fulfilling – so to say we accomplished our goals, big – small together – to that extent we haven’t lost any of our relations. The ratio of our employee and client retention has been the same. I have seen a lot of big firms losing the balance there, and I think to that extent we have been successful.”
The Team: Success can’t be enjoyed if you do not have the people associated with it along with you. Our strength lies in togetherness and that’s the biggest achievements. Today Mallyas are a decade old firm, comfortably positioned to strike the next target. Their next leap would be towards consumer empowerism. I strongly believe that we (Lawyers) are limited and its important that this limitation doesn’t become a hindrance for the right and timely justice. So our focus would be to curate something which would use technology to the optimum to offer solutions at finger tips. This would be a mix of legal and compliance guidance – so that less people fall in the cracks due to ignorance and people who require support – have something readily available with them as basics such that they can at least have some first level recourse and than depend on legal assistance. To that extent we are redesigning our web platform to make it consumer friendly.
Law and Technology Shamita has always worked keeping in view the future and she believes that technology has and will play an important role in disrupting the services sector and legal profession will not have an escape. She states; that, the Millennials are already impacting the legal buy/sell dynamics by introducing new, technology and process enabled, agile legal delivery models – which in her opinion is a welcome move, especially when a significant portion of society lacks meaningful access to legal representation.
Law has a distribution problem; on one hand there are too many unemployed and under-employed attorneys while on the other hand millions of potential clients go unrepresented because they cannot afford counsel at current rates. Technology, process, project management can refashion the legal delivery system.
In fact, the team at Mallyas is no exceptions to others, they are also actively pursuing to design a Tech Architecture which will aim at improving the delivery. We may soon see them – introducing solutions through Tech-products (especially in the compliance, contract, and regulatory areas)
“We have a strong belief that it will be worthwhile in the global marketplace - that the future lawyers collaborate, design, and deliver new products and
![](https://assets.isu.pub/document-structure/200123053945-e6aa6eeab0d6ff92b1cbf2b4d912b955/v1/17c5f772411fd9ec1a335644990b5186.jpg?width=720&quality=85%2C50)
services across nations and continents. It’s a time of great opportunity for future lawyers to bring millions of new customers into the marketplace—for the benefit of all.”
Influencing Lives – In Their Own Way Shamita states that while D&I is a new-aged wave, but for Mallyas as a firm, this was one of her core focus areas and she & her firm has always been directly / indirectly supportive of the same.
Mallyas & Co. has one of their batch of associates comprising of our associates who have been traditionally Domestic Helps and is a completely ladies batch. These group is with minimum educational qualification and the concentration is to get them get to the next level.
Interested associates are offered help & assistance in taking up advance courses in their desired field and not just Law. This offers them self-confidence a sense of accomplishment and above all dignity of labour.
Parallely, Shamita has been associated with various legal aid centers in Mumbai and is a known name - which specifically offers support to the underprivileged sects of society – in specific legally deprived women and children. One such age old institution is “Bapnu Ghar” based in Mumbai where she is the sole counsel for Domestic Violence.

One of the oldest legal systems in the world, the Indian Judiciary System is still highly influenced by the features of the British law that were incorporated centuries ago while India was still under the colonial rule.
The framework provided by the supreme law of the country, the Indian constitution and the judicial system flaunt a history of the glorious independence era. It abides by the common law system that couples with regulatory and statutory laws. We also follow the adversarial system which happens to be of high importance for its unbiased perspective to present both sides of the story to present neutral to the judge, who further proved the judgment based on the evidence provided and the arguments made.
But like every system with amendments, the Indian Judicial Systems comes with its own set of flaws that reflects upon its weaknesses and defects and should immediately be reformed and accountable. Here are a few major problems that are faced;
Corruption Corruption is deep-rooted in a lot of institutions of the government in India and so is in the legal as well. The number of scams, rapes, murders, and atrocities that take place have highly put the legal system, judiciary, functioning process, ignorance to truth, in a negative light. The culpability is under the constant scanner, there have been cases of bribes being given to a number of high profile lawyers, judges etc. there is a dire need for immediate repairing of this culture.
Pending Cases With the maximum number of backlog cases in the world, Indian Judicial system is running on an all-time slow with close to approximately 30 million cases. And there is no end to the constant rise of this number, the need for more judges has been discussed a lot of times but hardly much is done about the same, implementation is either insufficient or late. And while the rich can get away with tapping on expensive lawyers, it’s the mass of poor that mostly suffers the wrath. The slow pace not just delays the justice, it also keeps the prisoners awaiting in the prisons for their trials, eventually with a number of innocents spending their life behind the bars. For instance, the financial hub of India, Mumbai’s industrial development has been suffering immensely due to the pending land dispute cases for years.
Zero Transparency Lack of transparency is another great barrier that holds back the better of the judicial system. Over
time we have come to understand that Right to Information (RTI) act has not proven to be enough organized and hence the issues like trust on law, quality, and liability of justice keep popping up among the citizens.

The Under-Trials The number of prisoners on under-trials is very high in India and these prisoners end up spending their entire lives in the prison waiting for their cases to come to some definite conclusion. And while at it, the agony and suffering of staying back in the prison defending themselves are far more than the actual time of sentence. These prisoners are not proven guilty unless they are convicted by the courts. On the other hand, the rich and influential people can fetch the police at the back, and they can pester or hush troublesome and the unfortunate, throughout the long trials in the courts.
Isolation of the Law It is of utmost importance that the judicial system of a country should be of paramount essentiality and an integral part of the society. It should as well ensure that participation and communications are of the relevance of the society. There are a number of countries out there that encourage participation of the citizens for a better outlook, but on the contrary in India, there is no such activity followed, which again is something that is derived from the colonial rule times. There is a need for change after more than 60 years of independence for the officers to come on common grounds with the people.
In spite of the advancements technologically and otherwise that has dramatically impacted the lives of the commoners in positive ways, the legal system of India still looks like carrying its shady past and subtly shouts for a change in its actions and ways.
No matter how hard we shout of being a developing nation, the fact remains that the judicial system is out of place and need an immediate tuning with more case sensitive democratic norms and procedures that validate each and every section of the society and not just the posh. The faster we structure the judicial system the better and immediate progressive bend will intercourse the society.

COMPANY OVERVIEW Lexclaim Advocates, formerly known as ANA Partners, was established in 2013-14 by Mr. Prayas Aneja. In 2018, it was rebranded as Lexclaim Advocates, upon the joining of Ms. Pragati Aneja. It is a full-service law firm that deals in Criminal Law, Civil Law, Company Law, IPR, and so on.
They are a team of fifteen lawyers, and cater all over Delhi, with associate offices outside Delhi, in Chennai, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Kolkata.
They specialize in Intellectual Property Laws that includes Trademarks, Copyrights, Patents, Franchising, and Licencing, Start up and MSME Registrations, Arbitration and Company Law, Contracts, Civil and Criminal Law and Litigation.
The law firm works with startups, small and large companies, as well as international clients (like Metsize).
Lexclaim started with Civil and Criminal Litigation, and then extended its services to include IPR and Company Law. The firm has now established its reputation in the fields of Corporate law and IPR besides civil and criminal litigation.
Its Founder, Mr. Aneja, is a law graduate from National Law Institute University, Bhopal, one of the best law institutes in India. He then pursued a masters in corporate law. Mr. Prayas established the company, and Ms. Pragati joined mid-way, when the company was rebranded Lexclaim. Lexclaim derives its meaning from the Latin words “Lex”, meaning Law, and “Claim”, meaning to formally request.
Ms. Pragati used to be an electronics engineer by profession, who then enrolled for a law degree, and then went on to do a masters in Intellectual Property Law. To begin with, she worked in a different law firm for experience, and then joined Lexclaim as a Partner. They started catering to startups and other companies, because of her experience with IPR and company law.
One of the biggest challenges the partners faced was being first-generation lawyers. Forming a clientele was a struggle with no established legacy to support them. However, they worked hard, and made sure that they satisfy the clients that came to them. They provided

extensive legal consultation as well as results. Having retained the first clients, that became a part of their journey early on, is considered by them as one of their biggest achievements.
ETHICS AND VALUES The team at Lexclaim makes it a point to listen and understand their problem and its depth whenever a client communicates with them. They make sure that their services are provided at the best cost, in less time, and in an efficient manner. They have a dedicated email base, and they correspond through mail so that both parties have records of every exchange. Lexclaim is a modern day law firm that produces results in a timely manner. Ms Pragati believes that if lawyers deliver to the clients on time, a lot of time can be saved, even though court proceedings are often long and tedious.
When a client comes in, he becomes a part of the team, and they adequately counsel them along with representing them. For some clients, they don’t even charge any money. They have worked for clients who cannot pay, and counselled people free of cost. For instance, in Civil matters like domestic and property disputes of people who are really poor, like labour class disputes, have been mediated and issues sorted out by Lexclaim without charging them even a penny. A number of startups and students from universities are attended to with nominal or no charges. Lexclaim believes that them being the future of the country, should have the proper knowledge of Intellectual Property Laws. They should know how to protect their Intellectual Property Rights. To sum up, in Civil matters, Lexclaim helps poor people by giving them proper advice, mediating and resolving their issues, trying to make them understand that their focus should be on earning bread for their family rather than fighting amongst themselves, and in IPR, Lexclaim gives back to society by helping young students protect their Intellectual Property Rights. Students from JNU, for example, are being given ask consultations to, without a penny in exchange. Lexclaim helps them out so that their inventions and artworks and ideas are protected, the intellectual property of the country, therefore, is protected. They make sure that their inventions cannot be exploited.
For Ms. Pragati, the responsibility as a consultant includes giving ethically as well as legally correct advice. Sometimes, what is legal may not be ethical. Being a lawyer is a huge responsibility. Lawyers are the building blocks of society, and are carrying a legacy on our backs. They always need to make sure that their advice is absolutely correct: ethically, morally and legally. “As lawyers, we are going to take the society ahead,” she says.
A MESSAGE FOR THE READERS Of practising in the legal arena, Ms. Pragati says, “The most important thing is the will power. Especially in the legal field, if you are starting anew, be determined and fearless. Calculate your risks smartly. Know where you should go and how much involved you should get. Start with a vision in mind: why are you doing what you’re doing? Why are you starting your own law firm? It’s a very challenging field, it is imperative that you prepare well. Your planning and how you execute it holds a lot of importance. And once you have a vision, you have made your plans, calculated your risks, you should not be looking back.”
It is very important in today’s time for everyone to secure themselves legally. There are a lot of things a lawyer can help out with, before someone is sued and has to go to court. As an entrepreneur, a simple step like an official agreement with employees, can save from a lot of trouble, so they do not blame you for any kind of losses if things go south, or come up with a new claim. Ms. Pragati mentions, “There are a lot of things you can do to prepare yourself before you ever go to court. You should be in touch with a lawyer, especially when starting a new company, so that you’re guided properly and don’t land into litigation. Once you land into litigation, a lot of money gets spent. Even as a company, lawyers (that go to court) can be of more help than the legal counsel. If you have made your legal aspect strong, you will not land into litigation, and even if you do, the bench will be on your side.” Some sound advice!
PLANS AND PROSPECTS The short term goals of Lexclaim Advocates is expansion, and serving people even better than before. With the firm getting more work consistently, the next step, naturally, is adding more lawyers to the team. The company’s revenue is increasing every year, and so they are adding more people, to make sure that the companies that are coming to them are provided better services.
The long term plan, on the other hand, is taking the firm to the international market. Recently, Lexclaim Advocates has been conferred with Top 50 IP Lawyers Award, Dubai, for the services they provided to their clients. The team is intent on keeping this up, careening the firm towards international standards. They intend to make a place for themselves among the top ten law firms in India as well.

If your goal is to achieve a certain number of steps per day, the perfect way to accomplish that goal is to walk around the office as much as possible. If you are about to send an email to a colleague, see if they are in the office and walk to their desk instead of sharing your message.
Another great open window for self-workout is your lunch break, try to walk for at least ten minutes after your mid-day meal. It is the best thing if you have an hourlong lunch break; you can achieve at least a decent 20-30 minutes’ walk. Not only does this get you out of the office but it also helps in freshening of mind with new ideas.
EAT THE RIGHT LUNCH & STAND INSTEAD OF SITTING This may seem like a more obvious suggestion but packing the right amount of lunch that is nutrition-rich can make a huge difference in your productivity at work. It can also prevent you from feeling sleepy at your desk, as the human body is much lazier while working. Therefore, eat right amount and do some smart exercise to make yourself energetic at work and fit.
If you have the option of a standing desk, take advantage of the large space and use it. Most of the companies are now including standing desks in their offices and it is a great way to take a break from constantly sitting in front of the system.

Capt. Deepa Kuruvilla: The learnings and experiences which one gets from the Defence services as an officer is of an all-around performer. The Officers training Academy develops good administrative skills and gives an edge to see things from all angles of the problems. These skills are required to be an entrepreneur in the legal Sector. I developed these skills during the tenure as a DAJAG, it helped tremendously along with my years of experiences and knowledge in the laws related to Capital Market and Financial Markets (SEBI & RBI) in setting up of QwinLaw Legal & Compliances. Business Connect: How do you ensure the smooth functioning of the companies in the domain of Capital Market & Foreign Investments? Capt. respect to the regulatory trends and changes well in advance or immediately upon a change. This is achieved by extensive research and closely observing the regulatory and ministerial discussions. Business Connect: You were a part of the earlier batches of Lady Officers commissioned into Indian army? How has that experience shaped up your life as a woman entrepreneur? Capt. Deepa Kuruvilla: I joined Indian Army way back in 1995, it still was still a taboo for a girl to do what I did from the place where I belonged. But I enjoyed thinking in unconventional ways. The army teaches you ‘How to lead’ even at the worst situation, and that becomes muscle memory for an Army Officer. This learning as a Commissioned Officer of Indian Army shaped up my overall personality. Business Connect: What is your opinion about the current financial situation of the country? How viable is it for foreign companies to invest in India? Capt. Deepa Kuruvilla: India is a fast-developing economy and as per my opinion, Manmohan Singh as a Finance Minister during 1991-1996 period carried out several structural reforms that liberalized India’s economy. Opening India for foreign Investment paved a very dynamic growth as the world took it as a positive
move and a lot of foreign investment flew into the country. We have young, smart and educated population, ready to take India to the next level. We are on our way to be the favorite destination for investors for yielding good returns. The Foreign Investment data published by RBI speaks for itself with respect to the growth of foreign interest. Business Connect: How do you mitigate the risk involved in an investment? Capt. Deepa Kuruvilla: Risks are basically financial and regulatory, I concentrate on helping my clients in mitigating the regulatory risk. We help our clients to be at ease by advising them way in advance and work with them on the changes needed. Business Connect: How have you adapted yourself to the latest needs of the market? Capt. Deepa Kuruvilla: Keeping ourselves equipped with the latest information and possible regulatory changes. Also by observing the trends of the global and internal economy, and the changes brought in by the government related to the economy. This helps in advising the clients and adapting to the regulatory changes /remodel their product line. Business Connect: What gives you an edge over your peers? Please mention some of your fortes. Capt. Deepa Kuruvilla: I believe in preventative approach than remedial approach. If you are on the right side of laws and regulations, no need not worry about the mayhems. I advise my clients to take time to evaluate the pros and cons and cost-benefit analysis based on the regulatory parameters and take an informed decision. I help my clients to be on the safe side of law and regulations by educating them for being compliant with the relevant legal formalities. Business Connect: Do you see any transformation happening in the entrepreneurial world? Capt. Deepa Kuruvilla: Yes, the major change I see in the entrepreneurial world is the foreign investors coming to India. Now they are serious about their regulatory homework and spend their time in productive areas of their business than in lengthy legal procedures for correction and penalties. Business Connect: Did you face any obstacle during the initial days? How did you sail through them? Capt. Deepa Kuruvilla: I would rather call it a learning curve, each obstacle is an opportunity. Game of life, personal or business is like kids playing Fortnite. You have to be always at Call of duty as a true soldier. It’s your choice which costume you wear Skull Trooper or Creepy Bear. Your success will depend on who you become at a given point of time, I mentally change my costume as per the need. Business Connect: What was your learning during struggling days so that our readers could prepare themselves for upcoming challenges?
Capt. Deepa Kuruvilla: Whether it is existing or upcoming challenges, I realized that challenges can be conquered by having clarity of the nature of it, if you do so, a problem can be easily tackled by dissecting it and solving it by simple solutions. Business Connect: How difficult is it to remain relevant in this competitive world? How do you keep yourself motivated during tough times? Capt. Deepa Kuruvilla: Legal profession is highly competitive, Tough times are window period for brushing up skills and become smarter for better days. We use the tough time for getting new ideas, new insight, re-plan a compliance module, spent the time in learning and educating clients so we can be more productive. Business Connect: Tell us something about your staff. Capt. Deepa Kuruvilla: My primary approach to my staff is to help them learn and improve, they should be more confident personally and professionally. I motivate them to create an impact on whatever they do. That helps them to stay positive during challenging times, and they always know I am there to do final troubleshooting if they find challenges. Business Connect: Mention a couple of your favorite books/novels that have taught you the intricacies of business? Please share the erudition for our readers so that they could be inspired. Capt. Deepa Kuruvilla: I read a lot. Reading is an integral part of the legal profession. Law journals, Panel Discussions, Regulatory Study Committee reports are my regular topics of interest. Apart from this I regularly read Brain Tracy, Robin Sharma Robert Kiyosaki Jim Rohn & Lisa Nicol, these books helped me a lot in all aspects of life. Especially in the matter of advocacy, society is the laboratory so far as an advocate is concerned and obviously he has to have a spontaneous look at it in order to be good at profession. The New Era Like any other profession, employment or business Legal arena also is subjected to and is affected by the changing trends and needs of the world brought out and promoted on account of over-all development. One has to be updated not only in matters of knowledge, but also with the requirements of society which the time demands. An outlook towards the changing trends can give a clear vision as to the needs of the market. Since society is the lab for an advocate and obviously he has to have a spontaneous look at it in order to be good at profession. If anyone really want to remain relevant in this competitive world, he/she won’t feel any difficulty for that. Human brain gives answers to any questions and has a capacity to find solutions to any challenges. So obviously, it depends upon the need of survival of a person. Speaking about self motivation, Madhuraj added – “Motivation is one which develops within and I don’t think the degree or level of motivation decrease or increase depending on the easiness or toughness of times through which one passes.
