All roads lead to Rome: SiGMA Central Europe has a new location

Partner Update: SiGMA

Following discussions with the highest echelons, Rome, the Eternal City, is set to host the next SiGMA Central Europe conference from November 3–6, 2025. This strategic move places the flagship event in Europe’s fastest-growing gaming market, with the 2025 edition set to make its permanent home at the Fiera Roma, one of the largest and most prestigious expo venues in Europe.

The conference will bring together over 30,000 delegates, 1,000 sponsors and exhibitors, and 550 expert speakers for a summit that blends business with pleasure seamlessly.

La dolce vita: Where history, culture, and innovation converge

Setting the stage for the future of gaming, the city’s spirit still thrives on a thirst for innovation and invention, fuelling Rome´s reputation as an unequalled hub of influence and entrepreneurship. A rich cultural legacy that is still very much alive

brings an enviable backdrop for those seeking the epicurean pleasures offered by the dolce vita lifestyle.

A feast for history lovers, landmarks from the iconic Sistine Chapel to the imposing Colosseum line its streets. Although today battles will be fought on the conference stage, with startups going head-tohead during the Startup Pitch – and its gladiators hailing from up-and-coming new businesses.

Deeply rooted culinary traditions have helped put the country on the map for food lovers. Softly lit streets lined with cosy trattorias and rooftop bars segue into the upscale dining rooms of Michelin-starred restaurants, providing plenty of options for SiGMA Central Europe´s evening calendar of networking events.

Huge

market size and untapped potential

As the largest untapped online gambling market in Europe, Italy offers unparalleled

growth opportunities for the industry. Recent market research reveals that Italy boasts the second-highest total gambling market revenue in Europe, worth an impressive €16 billion. However, only 25% of this revenue is currently generated through online platforms, leaving a substantial €12 billion in offline gambling that remains largely untouched by the online market.(EGBA – European Online Gambling Key Figures 2022 Edition)

Italy’s online gambling industry is set to achieve a revenue of €2.89 billion in 2024, reflecting a robust growth trend in the sector. According to Statista, Italy’s online gaming industry also has an anticipated annual growth rate of 5.52 percent from 2024 to 2029, and the market is expected to reach €3.78 billion by the end of the forecast period. This growth includes a projected revenue of €1.54 billion for the online casino segment alone in 2024.

This vast potential, in tandem with evolving player preferences, makes Italy a prime target for online gambling operators looking to expand. By bringing SiGMA Europe to Italy, the event aims to play a pivotal role in driving this market shift, positioning itself at the forefront of the country’s online gambling revolution.

SiGMA’s presence will help operators tap into this massive opportunity, fostering connections, innovation, and growth while unlocking significant business prospects for online gambling platforms eager to enter this highpotential market.

Rome has also emerged as a top European city for digital entrepreneurship and startup growth. Italy, the continent’s fastest-growing country in venture capital investment, has seen funding soar. Initiatives like the Houses of Emerging Technologies underscore the nation’s commitment to fostering groundbreaking ideas, making Rome a prime destination for financial and technological advancement.

Fiera Roma: Room to grow

The event will be held at Fiera Roma, one of Europe’s premier exhibition centers. Boasting 10 pillar-free pavilions and a conference center with 13 meeting rooms, the 100,000 square metre venue accommodates up to 60,000 participants, ensuring an ideal setting for SiGMA’s extensive agenda, which will take place for the first time across 4 conference stages.

With 75,000 square metres already sold out, the decision to launch the event is a testament to SiGMA’s rapid growth, positioning the brand as a global leader in the online and land-based Gaming sector.

From 1,500 in 2014 to 27,000 delegates in 2024, SiGMA´s journey is underpinned by a philosophy that demands forward thinking.

Additionally, a full 10 days of expo set up is secured – more than any other large expo – allowing exhibitors more room for creative booth set ups, and maintaining the high standards of excellence SiGMA has become known for.

Connected and central

Hosting SiGMA Central Europe in Rome also offers the advantage of easy accessibility, thanks to its metro train system and 2 main airports; the Leonardo da Vinci International Airport, which has been ranked Europe’s best 6 years in a row, and Ciampino.

The Leonardo da Vinci International Airport

Leonardo da Vinci International Airport, the largest in Italy’s capital, stands out for its exceptional passenger services, cutting-edge technology, and efficient infrastructure. Recognised as Europe’s most punctual airport, it has won the Best Airport Award for a record seven consecutive years and holds Skytrax’s prestigious 5-star rating for service quality. In 2022, the airport inaugurated Molo A, a state-of-the-art boarding area with 23 gates. The airport is connected to Rome via the Leonardo Express, and is just 8 minutes away from the Fiera Roma, which itself is an easy 30 minutes from the city centre.

All roads lead to Rome in 2025 as SiGMA Central Europe sets the stage for innovation and collaboration in one of Europe’s most promising gaming and tech landscapes.

Live Streaming Integration

Bridging iGaming and eSports Audiences

In the fast-paced world of iGaming, where online casinos and sports betting platforms are constantly innovating to capture player attention, one emerging trend is rewriting the rules of engagement: live streaming. The integration of live streaming into iGaming platforms is not only revolutionizing user experiences but also bridging the gap between the worlds of online betting and eSports, creating a powerful synergy that benefits operators, players, and content creators alike.

The Appeal of Live Streaming in iGaming

Live streaming has become a dominant force in entertainment, with platforms like Twitch and YouTube driving millions of viewers daily. For iGaming operators, the appeal lies in the immediacy and authenticity that live streaming offers. Watching a live dealer shuffle cards in real-time or observing a high-stakes slot tournament streamed directly to an audience brings an unprecedented level of transparency and excitement to online gambling.

Evolution Gaming, a pioneer in live casino technology, has set a benchmark by offering immersive experiences such as live roulette and blackjack. Players are no longer interacting with algorithms but with real people in real-time, fostering trust and a deeper emotional connection. Similarly, operators like Betway and 888casino have capitalized on live streaming to host exclusive events and tournaments, drawing in dedicated player bases.

eSports Meets iGaming: A Natural Convergence

The eSports industry, with its multi-billiondollar valuation, is an ecosystem built on live streaming. Competitive games like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) and League of Legends draw millions of viewers for major tournaments, with platforms like Twitch and Facebook Gaming serving as primary broadcasting hubs. For iGaming operators, tapping into this established audience is a logical step.

Companies such as Unikrn have been at the forefront of this convergence, offering betting markets on eSports events while integrating live streams directly into their platforms. By doing so, they provide users with a seamless experience— allowing them to watch matches and place bets without leaving the interface. Similarly, Bet365 has expanded its offerings to include live-streamed eSports tournaments, recognizing the potential to attract a younger, tech-savvy demographic.

The Business Case for Live Streaming Integration

From a B2B perspective, the integration of live streaming offers operators several advantages:

Enhanced User Engagement: Realtime interaction keeps players engaged longer, increasing session times and, ultimately, revenue. Live chat features, popular in eSports streams, are now being implemented in iGaming to foster community interaction.

Data-Driven Personalization: Streaming platforms generate vast amounts of data, from viewing habits to betting patterns. This data enables operators to offer personalized promotions and tailor experiences to individual users.

Cross-Promotion Opportunities: By partnering with streaming platforms and eSports organizations, iGaming companies can leverage crosspromotional opportunities to reach untapped audiences.

Brand Authenticity: Live streaming’s unfiltered nature lends authenticity to brands, an essential factor for building trust in the highly regulated gambling industry.

Challenges in Implementation

While the benefits are clear, integrating live streaming into iGaming platforms comes with its challenges. Licensing and compliance remain top concerns, as operators must navigate varying regulations across jurisdictions. Additionally, technological hurdles, such as ensuring low-latency streams and managing server loads during peak times, require significant investment.

Companies like Kindred Group and Entain are addressing these issues head-on, partnering with technology providers to develop scalable solutions. For example, advanced Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) are being employed to minimize latency and ensure high-quality streams, even for users in remote locations.

Spotlight on Innovation: Interactive Betting Experiences

One of the most exciting developments in live streaming integration is the rise of interactive betting experiences. Platforms such as DraftKings are experimenting with features that allow users to place bets directly within a live stream, blurring the lines between watching and wagering. This innovation not only enhances user convenience but also opens up new avenues for engagement.

Another noteworthy example is Pinnacle, which has introduced features that let bettors access real-time statistics and analytics alongside live streams. By providing actionable insights during games, Pinnacle empowers users to make informed betting decisions, creating a more dynamic and rewarding experience.

The Future: A Unified Ecosystem

The integration of live streaming into iGaming is just the beginning of a broader trend toward creating unified ecosystems where entertainment and betting coexist seamlessly. Imagine a platform where players can watch their favorite eSports teams compete, interact with influencers, and place bets—all without switching between apps or tabs.

To achieve this vision, collaboration between iGaming operators, technology providers, and content creators will be essential. Companies like Pragmatic Play, known for their innovative live casino offerings, and Greentube, a leader in interactive gaming solutions, are likely to play pivotal roles in shaping this future.

Live streaming is no longer just an addon feature for iGaming platforms; it’s a game-changer. By bridging the gap between iGaming and eSports audiences, operators have the opportunity to tap into new markets, drive engagement, and redefine the player experience. As technology continues to evolve and consumer expectations rise, the successful integration of live streaming will become a critical differentiator for iGaming companies looking to stay ahead in this competitive industry.

How Oracle Cloud Powers the Industry's Explosive Growth

The global gaming industry is experiencing unprecedented growth, with revenues projected to surpass $196 billion by 2022.

This rapid expansion is driven by technological advancements, evolving business models, and an ever-increasing demand for immersive gaming experiences. To navigate this dynamic landscape, gaming companies are turning to robust cloud solutions that offer scalability, performance, and security. Oracle, a leader in cloud infrastructure, provides a comprehensive suite of services tailored to meet the unique needs of the gaming industry.

Building Games in the Cloud

Developing and deploying games require a flexible and powerful infrastructure capable of handling demanding workloads. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) offers compute instances that provide the necessary flexibility, scaling, and performance for gaming applications. From virtual machines (VMs) to bare metal servers with Remote Direct Memory Access (RDMA) and GPU VMs, OCI caters to a wide range of gaming workloads.

A critical aspect of online gaming is network performance. OCI's secondgeneration non-blocked network ensures secure connections through customizable isolated virtual cloud networks (VCNs). This architecture minimizes latency and enhances the gaming experience for players worldwide. Additionally, OCI's competitive data egress charges enable gaming companies to save significantly on data transfer costs.

Data management is another cornerstone of game development and operation. OCI provides low-cost, high-performance storage solutions, including local, object, file, block, and archive storage. These services allow gaming companies to safely store and manage game and user data efficiently, ensuring quick access and reliability.

Security and Data Science Integration

In an industry where user data is invaluable, security is paramount. OCI's security-first design incorporates builtin controls, such as isolated network virtualization, to protect sensitive information. This architecture ensures that gaming companies can safeguard their data against potential threats, maintaining player trust and compliance with data protection regulations.

Leveraging data science is essential for delivering personalized gaming experiences. OCI enables the integration of disparate data sources, accelerating game development and enhancing player engagement. By utilizing Oracle Data Science services, gaming companies can analyze player behavior, preferences, and trends to tailor experiences that resonate with their audience.

Real-Time Analytics for Gamer Engagement

Understanding player behavior and engagement is crucial for the success of any game. Oracle Analytics Cloud delivers real-time insights, allowing gaming companies to process relevant data, evaluate predictions, and make informed decisions swiftly. This capability is vital for driving gamer acquisition, engagement, and retention in a highly competitive market.

Case Study: Mynet's Success with Oracle Cloud

Mynet, a Japan-based mobile gaming company, exemplifies the benefits of adopting Oracle Cloud solutions. Specializing in acquiring and revitalizing existing game titles, Mynet sought to enhance profitability and extend the lifespan of their games. By migrating to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Mynet achieved significant improvements in performance and cost efficiency.

Hiroshi Matsumoto, Director and Head of Game Service Business Department at Mynet, stated, "We’ve been able to achieve cloud cost reductions of about 80% in most of these game titles."

This substantial reduction in operational costs allowed Mynet to invest more resources into game development and player engagement strategies.

Furthermore, Oracle's data analytics capabilities enabled Mynet to leverage big data expertise, optimizing game

performance and enhancing user experiences. The integration of Oracle's cloud solutions facilitated Mynet's goal of connecting people through mobile games, contributing to their expansion in the global gaming market.

Enhancing Financial Processes with Oracle Cloud ERP

Beyond game development and deployment, Oracle offers solutions to streamline financial processes within gaming companies. Oracle Cloud ERP provides tools to drive finance transformation, offering greater visibility and insights into corporate and production financials. This integration simplifies financial operations, enabling gaming companies to focus on innovation and growth.

MGM Resorts International, a global hospitality and entertainment company, selected Oracle Cloud Applications to modernize their financial systems. By moving their core business processes to the cloud, MGM Resorts enhanced their

ability to rapidly evolve offerings and improve customer experiences. The agility provided by Oracle's cloud technology was instrumental in their digital transformation journey.

Creating Impactful Experiences for Digital-Savvy Gamers

Today's gamers expect personalized and seamless experiences. Oracle's suite of cloud services empowers gaming companies to meet these expectations by launching direct-to-consumer (D2C) offerings, increasing market share, and attracting new players. By utilizing Oracle's customer data platforms and analytics, companies can gain a comprehensive understanding of their audience, enabling the delivery of hyper-personalized services and offers.

Understanding who the best gamers are and how to reach them is facilitated through Oracle's advertising solutions. These tools ensure that digital advertisements are seen by real people, not bots, allowing companies to

confidently assess the effectiveness of their marketing strategies. Combining online, offline, and third-party data with artificial intelligence and machine learning, Oracle helps create a unified, dynamic view of fans and gamers, enhancing engagement and loyalty.

The Future of Gaming with Oracle Cloud

As the gaming industry continues to evolve, the need for scalable, secure, and high-performance infrastructure becomes increasingly critical. Oracle's commitment to innovation positions it as a valuable partner for gaming companies seeking to navigate the complexities of the digital landscape. By providing comprehensive cloud solutions that address the multifaceted needs of game development, deployment, and operation, Oracle enables companies to focus on what they do best: creating engaging and immersive gaming experiences.

Let me Entain you

Working in the gaming industry is many a teenager’s idea of heaven but it’s not quite as simple as it looks. In an industry sprawling across the globe there are a daunting number of regulations with which to comply and customers to satisfy at a time of constant technological change.

Steve Degiorgio, Director of Gaming Revenue, Nordics and Baltics, at Entain Group, one of the world’s largest sports betting and gaming groups, has the enviable but also challenging task of driving long-term growth in a successful business in these regions but also into other markets.

He describes himself as a person who’s very passionate about delivering a successful result to both the business and its clients alike.

He began his career in online gaming, just shy of 15 years ago but his roots in the industry lie within the glitzy world of VIP management, where as a VIP host, his role was to build strong, long-lasting relationships with customers.

The landscape of course back then was an entirely different one. No less interesting than today, but different. He then moved over to player retention as a whole aiming to apply that same knowledge and experience gained within VIP to the entire player base, both of which he says were fantastic experiences spanning quite a few years. He currently works on the commercial side of the business and is involved with revenue and third-party partnerships.

Steve has now been in the gaming industry long enough to be sure Entain’s path ahead must be plotted carefully.

“The key for us is long-term sustainable revenue, in order to ensure continuous development and evolution of a successful business,” he says.

This means the group eschews anything that might lead to player burnout or irresponsible gambling, all the while emphasising safety and security for players. Degiorgio stresses that vital to every strategy Entain deploys is its duty of care to players and customers.

“At Entain we are leaders in responsible gambling, social responsibility and player protection practices,” Degiorgio emphasises, adding: “Not only because these are important values but because we truly believe in providing our audiences with an offering which is not only innovative and entertaining but above all offered within a safe environment for all our players to enjoy.”

It is these values that make for the most vital of backbones for any commercial enterprise, the loyal customer base. It’s a relationship of mutual interdependence. Entain looks after the customers and the customers look after Entain.

Degiorgio says: “With my roots in VIP management, I always carry that mantra with me that everything that is being created should be done with the end user’s satisfaction in mind. And I believe this way of thinking has shaped me as a manager.”

This is a time when, Degiorgio notes, so much customer engagement takes place online via game recommendation engines and player portals and the centrality of customer experience is core to Entain’s vision. To that end it frequently surveys customers about its products and services. It also holds focus groups in which different demographic groups are quizzed on what the company is doing well and not so well and where it can improve.

No less important to Entain’s offering is technology, which is steadily building up the gaming landscape of tomorrow.  Degiorgio says: “Gamification extends far beyond just aesthetic engagement; I believe it begins with mechanics before aesthetics.”

‘Technology and its evolution have thrust operators forward at such a pace, with such incredible opportunities to enhance and heighten player experience.”

“Fluidity and ease of navigation, both on mobile and desktop have become key to capitalizing on player retention and combating churn.”

“At Entain (Nordics & Baltics), we pride ourselves in deploying a second- to- none, fluid navigation paired with evolving tools designed to maximize customer loyalty and retention.”

Interactivity for Entain’s customers and their real time gaming experience is at the

heart of the service it provides today’s tech savvy consumers. As players are constantly directly and indirectly interacting with the system, all while keeping track of their progress in real time, the Entain universe and its customers make for a hive of rapid continuous leisure activity.

This generates an infectious buzz among those who work for Entain, Degiorgio feels.

He says: “There is this hunger amongst people in the industry always to develop something better and it’s really exciting to be a part of that and I mean, also on that subject, never in my opinion has there been a time more than at present when user experience and UI are such crucial driving forces within this sector especially as an operator.”

Gaming is a universal leisure activity but that brings with it a new set of challenges as the sector has to operate within a multiplicity of different jurisdictions with multiple different regulations and

consumer needs. Entain has to be nimble in adapting to these challenges with a range of strategies to retain customers.

Aside from adhering strictly to the regulations implemented by the individual regulators of each market in which it operates, key for Entain has been maintaining a level of flexibility within each market. Degiorgio has learned that what the company builds and develops for one market will not necessarily have the same impact in another.

“We retain that level of flexibility within our offering, which allows us to target specific markets independently whilst, of course, always being compliant within each jurisdiction in which we operate.”

As an international business not only does Entain have to take into account the full range of regulations governing its industry across the globe but with a vast customer base it also has to perform an adept juggling of differences in player needs and desires. Navigating Innovation and Responsibility: A Conversation with Entain’s Steve Degiorgio

The iGaming industry has seen incredible growth over the past decade, becoming a hub of innovation, creativity, and competition. At the center of this vibrant landscape is Entain, a global leader in sports betting and gaming. I had the opportunity to sit down with Steve Degiorgio, Entain’s Head of Gaming Revenue for the Nordics and Baltics, during this year’s buzzing SiGMA conference.

With nearly 15 years in the gaming industry, Steve has a wealth of experience and insight. From his journey within the industry to Entain’s strategies for innovation and responsibility, our conversation covered it all. Here's an inside look into the strategies and values that drive one of the most dynamic companies in iGaming.

SiGMA: A Hub for Collaboration and Connection

Fresh off a series of meetings and networking events, Steve described the atmosphere at SiGMA as electric.

“SiGMA is always busy and exciting,” he began. “It’s a fantastic opportunity to connect with partners and colleagues you’ve only spoken to remotely. Plus, it’s great to catch up with old friends and make new ones. It’s all about collaboration.”

For Steve, the biggest takeaway is the chance to build relationships. “Putting faces to names is invaluable. We often have countless conversations with partners and colleagues throughout the year but rarely meet in person. Events like these bring people together, making collaboration more personal and effective.”

Steve Degiorgio and Jessica Collins

Entain Nordics & Baltics: A Safe and Engaging Gaming Environment

Entain is a global powerhouse in sports betting and gaming, and its footprint in the Nordics and Baltics reflects a strong commitment to innovation, sustainability, and responsibility. Steve oversees the commercial operations in these regions, working to ensure both growth and player satisfaction.

“Our goal is to be a driving force in innovation and entertainment,” Steve explained. “But everything we do is built on the foundation of safety and security for our players.”

Entain’s approach combines cuttingedge technology with a strong focus on responsible gaming. The company delivers immersive, best-in-class experiences while ensuring players can enjoy these safely. This balance of entertainment and ethics sets Entain apart in a crowded market.

A Career Rooted in Relationships

Steve’s journey to his current role is as engaging as the industry itself. With nearly 15 years of experience, he has worn many hats, each adding a unique layer to his expertise.

“I started in VIP,” he recalled. “My job was to build and retain strong relationships with our biggest players. I was fortunate to host events around the world, creating memorable experiences for our VIPs.” Over time, Steve transitioned from VIP management to player retention, expanding his focus to the broader customer base.

“Moving from a niche segment to managing retention strategies for the entire player base was a fascinating challenge,” he said. “It required adapting strategies to different segments, but with the help of a great team, it was a rewarding experience.”

Now, as Director of Gaming Revenue, Steve focuses on commercial growth, working closely with third-party providers to drive success.

“It’s a different section of the business, but just as interesting,” he said. “Collaboration and innovation remain at the heart of everything we do.”

Sustainability

at the Core of Strategy

A recurring theme in our conversation was sustainability. Steve emphasized the importance of building long-term strategies that ensure both business success and player well-being.

“For us, sustainability isn’t optional - it’s essential,” he asserted. “Whether it’s responsible gambling, player protection, or avoiding burnout, every strategy we deploy is designed with longevity in mind.” This philosophy extends to Entain’s regulatory approach. Operating in the highly regulated markets of the Nordics and Baltics requires careful navigation of compliance requirements.

“There’s no one-size-fits-all solution,” Steve explained. “Each market has its own regulations, and what works in one may not work in another. Flexibility is key. We design our systems to adapt to local requirements while maintaining compliance across the board.”

Innovating Loyalty and Engagement

Entain has set a high bar for player engagement, particularly in the Nordic market. By implementing a fully pay-andplay system, the company has streamlined the gaming experience.

“In the Nordics, speed and flexibility are paramount,” Steve said. “Our pay-and-play system eliminates lengthy registration and verification processes, giving players immediate access to our full suite of content.”

This system also includes a real-time loyalty program, allowing players to track their progress and redeem rewards without interrupting their gameplay.

“Everything happens in real-time,” he continued. “Players don’t need to leave the game or navigate through multiple screens. It’s a seamless experience that keeps them engaged.”

This innovative approach not only enhances player satisfaction but also reinforces Entain’s commitment to providing user-friendly and engaging solutions.

The Power of Partnerships

For Steve, strong partnerships are integral to Entain’s success. From game providers to local collaborators, these relationships enable the company to deliver innovative solutions and maintain a competitive edge.

“Partnerships are essential,” he said. “No one can succeed alone in such a vast and complex industry. We rely on our partners for their expertise, and together, we achieve mutual growth and success.”

Steve highlighted the importance of shared knowledge, explaining how partners often provide insights that Entain uses to refine its strategies.

“They have a bird’s-eye view of trends and player preferences across entire networks,” he said. “This information helps us deliver the best possible experiences for our players.”

Player Protection: The Ethical Imperative At the core of Entain’s operations is a commitment to ethical practices and player protection. Steve spoke passionately about the company’s proactive approach to responsible gaming.

“Player safety is not just a duty—it’s the foundation of a sustainable business,” he said. “We monitor player activity, ensure responsible behavior, and intervene when necessary. It’s about creating a safe environment where players can enjoy themselves without risk.”

This focus on responsibility extends to every aspect of Entain’s operations, from game design to customer support.

“If you want to deliver a sustainable business, you must prioritize player safety,” he emphasized. “Our goal is to prevent burnout and promote ethical gaming practices across the board.”

Looking Ahead: Growth and Innovation

As we wrapped up, Steve shared his excitement for the future. Entain’s plans include expanding into new markets, enhancing existing partnerships, and continuing to innovate in player engagement and loyalty systems.

“2025 is shaping up to be an exciting year,” he said. “We’re constantly looking for ways to stay ahead of the curve and deliver meaningful experiences for players while maintaining our commitment to responsibility.”

Steve also expressed gratitude for the collaborative efforts that drive Entain’s success. “None of this would be possible without our partners, both internal and external. It’s a team effort, and I’m proud to be part of such a forward-thinking organization.”

A Vision for the Future

From his early days in VIP management to leading Entain’s operations in the Nordics and Baltics, Steve Degiorgio exemplifies the leadership and innovation that define the iGaming industry. His unwavering focus on sustainability, responsibility, and player satisfaction ensures that Entain remains at the forefront of the digital gaming revolution.

As the industry continues to evolve, one thing is certain: with leaders like Steve at the helm, the future of iGaming looks brighter than ever.

A Vision for the Future of i-Gaming

“It’s a very exciting time to be a part of the business,” said Casumo’s Chief Technology Office (CTO), Cristina Turbatu, who joined the company in July 2023 as part of a complete C-suite overhaul.

The change of leadership has reignited a spark within the company to push boundaries and drive innovation within the i-gaming industry.

Forming part of Casumo’s vibrant, new identity, it has made significant investment into its front end, which has seen responsiveness improve by up to 70%.

“The business has seen a real turnaround in the last year and I am thrilled to be part of a team pushing boundaries,” shared Cristina, “we’re looking forward to measuring the impact that the changes we are making have had”.

2023 saw pivotal change for one of Europe’s most innovative online gaming platforms, Casumo.

Causumo
CTO Cristina Turbatu

Following over a decade working in technology and innovation, CTO Cristina joined Casumo to support the business in building a robust technology strategy which is secure and scalable, ensuring ongoing growth of the business and its capabilities.

Inheriting a team which needed a renewed sense of guidance and purpose, Crisitna has imparted a culture of inclusivity, innovation, and decisiveness within her team, whilst also prioritising creativity.

“It’s also crucial that tech development isn’t isolated, and so I drive an environment of transparency, opencommunication, and cross-functionality,” explained Cristina.

Cristina also highlighted the internationality of the technology team, which fosters an environment of kindness and challenge with respect.

Despite Cristina’s focus on creativity, she also highlighted the importance of utilising data to drive improvements.

Partnerships Optimise Security

Casumo, which holds licences in Matla, the UK, Sweden, and Spain, offers gamers distinctive and innovative online casino experiences, as well as sports betting.

With this in mind, it is crucial that the business implements banking standards to ensure security for its customers. To support this, in 2023 Casumo migrated its platform to Google Cloud, in a move which Cristina described as a “game changer”.

“Our relationship with Google Cloud and their sales partner in Malta, AmagisTech, has been a true partnership, with their team offering a lot of support and training to ensure a smooth transition and enabling us to build a more robust platform,” she said.

Casumo has developed a rigorous protocol to ensure Casumo gamers can enjoy i-gaming safely and securely.

The business has implemented advanced encryption to ensure data protection, as

well as a complete and transparent audit trail for all transactions.

Partnerships, such as its one with Google Cloud, are crucial for Casumo’s growth, with Cristina commenting that these relationships help to “build trust and leverage” with customers.

Additionally, it supports the business in enhancing and expanding, on its mission to become an entertainment platform and not simply a gambling platform.

“It’s incredibly important to us that we encourage our users to play for entertainment and not to encourage unhealthy gambling habits,” said Cristina.

Industry-Leading Transformation

Alongside Casumo’s rebrand and c-suite reorganisation, the business has been implementing its digital transformation strategy in order to develop a seamless and efficient experience for users.

“We have been transforming both internally and externally in order to better our user experience,” explained Cristina.

The business is currently focussing on its backend system, ensuring that it is fit for efficient scalability and plugging-in of new innovations.

In order to deepen engagement with its users, the online casino platform is enhancing its user experience by utilising AI technologies.

“AI has enabled us to develop an algorithm to offer personalised game suggestions based on user preferences. We plan to develop this further to offer our users the most personalised experience on the market,” explained Cristina.

“As we move forward, Casumo wants to influence market standards and lead by example,” she added.

Leading by example, Casumo has a strong representation of women in leadership roles, reflecting the company's commitment to diversity and inclusivity at the highest levels of the company.

“Our diverse and inclusive environment sends a strong message that we employ based on talent and experience, seeking the best people from around the world to drive Casumo forward for the benefit of our users,” said Cristina.

Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger: Where Technology Can Bring You

In a rapidly evolving digital landscape, the iGaming industry is witnessing transformative changes driven by product innovations and advancements in technology.

At the forefront of this evolution is Playson, a leading content provider that has made significant strides since its inception in 2012. After a technology upscale under the guidance of Oleksii Mylotskyi, who joined Playson in 2019 as Chief Technology Officer, the company has emerged as a major player in the gaming sector.

Mylotskyi brought a wealth of experience in software engineering and technical leadership from his previous roles and now oversees a team of talented PO's and IT specialists that ensure Playson's technological leadership. His insights into the challenges faced by the industry, alongside a vision for the future of technology in iGaming, have been instrumental in shaping Playson’s technological trajectory.

CTO, Oleksii Mylotskyi

company's journey, the current state of the industry, and where technologаy can take it.

Playson’s Evolution

Playson has transformed from a small startup into a prominent iGaming content provider, known for its innovative slot games and commitment to quality. The company began its journey with a vision to deliver a superior gaming experience through engaging content and robust technology.

What sets Playson apart is its unwavering commitment to delivering MORE: a philosophy that emphasizes enhancing both entertainment value and technological capabilities.

"We believe that our players deserve the best, and that’s why we are committed to providing not just great games, but a seamless experience across all touchpoints, which is only achievable with scalable and reliable technology behind it" Mylotskyi explained.

The introduction of solutions like xPlatform exemplifies this commitment, showcasing Playson’s operational excellence, scalability, as well as ensuring compliance with industry regulations and seamless integration of gaming features for its global partners.

All of this is possible with a fostered culture of ownership among engineering teams, where each unit is willing and able to take control over their product, make informed decisions and take

responsibility. The fruit of this effort is a group of strong technology leaders with a key focus on product perfection, who drive innovations across various technological platforms.

"Being at the helm of technology at Playson means constantly pushing the boundaries of what’s possible," said Mylotskyi.

CTO’srole involves high-level oversight of technical product delivery and exploring innovative solutions that align with the evolving demands of the gaming market. This vision extends to various aspects of the company, from cloud infrastructure to agile development practices, all designed to scale technology and delivery structures in line with the industry’s evolving demands.

Bridging the Technology Gap in iGaming

Despite the progress made in iGaming technology, significant gaps remain in delivering an immersive player experience at scale.

"Many providers focus on rapid transaction processing and scalability, but few prioritize creating an experience that feels as immersive and exciting as traditional landbase gaming machines," he explained.

Mylotskyi envisions an ideal state where games offer a consistent rhythm and responsiveness akin to physical machines, enabling full immersion in gameplay. The challenge lies in integrating the best features of physical

gaming with the versatility of online platforms.

"Imagine a world where online gaming captures the essence of being in a casino, where every spin and every interaction feels intuitive and engaging. That should be our target as an industry".

A Collaborative Approach to Player Experience

At Playson, enhancing player experience is a company-wide endeavour that involves collaboration across different domains. Mylotskyi explains that Playson product delivery operates within three main domains: the platform, promotional features, and game production.

Each domain addresses unique challenges while contributing to the overall goal of improving player experience.

Platform Domain: This domain is responsible for managing player sessions and integration with partners. Rather than focusing solely on improving the average player session, the Platform team aims to enhance even the worst 1% percentile of player experiences. "We strive to ensure that even in the worst-case scenarios, the impact on gameplay is minimal. Every player deserves a top-notch experience," Mylotskyi emphasized.

Game Production Domain: Seeking to eliminate "losses in translation" between the artists’ vision and the final product, the team is developing tools that enable art to integrate seamlessly with technology. "Our goal is to empower our artists with the tools they need to create without constant engineering support," Mylotskyi added. This way the artist’s vision is fully realized without compromise, enhancing the gaming experience and providing players with the utmost joy.

Promo Features Domain: This unique domain combines technical solutions with artistic elements, offering networked features and engaging mini-games to the core rounds that enhance the

multiplayer experience. "We focus on scaling our promotional features rapidly and effectively. Real-time streaming of player progress and achievements makes the gaming experience more engaging and competitive."

Challenges of Scalability in iGaming

The iGaming industry faces significant challenges when it comes to scalability. Mylotskyi explained that many operators manage scalability semi-manually, preparing for expected traffic spikes but often struggling to handle sudden increases in demand.

"This can lead to performance issues during peak times, ultimately impacting the player experience. We need to be proactive,"

To address these challenges, Playson is focused on designing scalable SaaS solutions like xPlatform that can effortlessly process thousands of transactions per second.

"Our architecture supports multi-region setups and handles traffic fluctuations without breaking a sweat, as we are talking about such a number as 200 million transactions daily," Mylotskyi added.

Adopting a micro-service architecture allows to provide operators and players with the seamless scaling they expect, and top-notch availability.

The Impact of Scalability on Growth

Improvements in scalability, faster load times, and higher reliability are essential for driving growth in the iGaming market. Mylotskyi draws a parallel to streaming services, where slow load times or service interruptions can lead to user attrition.

"In iGaming, if your platform can’t handle traffic efficiently, players will simply leave and never return. Because the competition is very high, we can’t afford to be slow or unavailable."

Faster spin time contributes to a smoother player experience, increasing engagement and session times. Mylotskyi emphasises that even a few milliseconds of delay can make a difference in player retention.

"If we can maintain average spin times of 150 milliseconds, we can keep players engaged longer, which ultimately boosts revenue for operators," Reliability is another crucial factor. Downtime or server issues can lead to frustration and a loss of trust among players. "A platform that offers near-perfect reliability creates a secure environment for players, enhancing satisfaction and driving growth in a competitive landscape," said Mylotskyi.

Reducing Latency and Load Times

In the pursuit of real-time gaming experiences, reducing latency and load times is paramount. Mylotskyi highlights that players expect instant outcomes, whether they are engaged in a live casino game or a fast-paced slot session.

"We must optimise our infrastructure to handle high volumes of data with minimal delay. Players shouldn’t have to wait at all," he shared.

Geographically distributed infrastructures and faster data processing pipelines are critical to minimising latency.

"Bringing games closer to players, combined with persistent connections such as WebSockets, is key to delivering a real-time gaming experience," Mylotskyi explained.

Additionally, optimising game assets and utilising distributed Content Delivery Networks (CDN) can significantly improve load times, ensuring that players can quickly access their favourite games.

Overcoming Obstacles to Reliability

Achieving near-perfect reliability in iGaming is a complex challenge. Mylotskyi identifies several key obstacles, including infrastructure vulnerabilities like server failures, network outages, and unexpected traffic spikes.

"We need to invest in redundant systems and failover protocols to ensure continuous uptime, even during peak usage periods. It is a complex endeavour of handling petabytes of analytical data in storage that are processed on dozens of servers," he stated.

Playson, for example, addresses these challenges by utilising a crossregional SaaS platform that is carefully tuned to scale efficiently during traffic spikes.

"By employing regional canary deployment strategies, we can minimise downtime and maintain service continuity for tens of thousands of users simultaneously playing on the platform around the world," Mylotskyi added.

The company also implements a comprehensive monitoring system that includes anomaly detection, allowing for proactive identification and resolution of potential issues before they impact the player experience.

Setting Higher Standards for Performance

To elevate performance standards in the iGaming industry, companies must prioritise understanding players' experiences and behaviours. Mylotskyi believes that technical leaders should not only compare themselves to other online game providers but also benchmark against industries where every millisecond matters, such as high-frequency trading and live streaming.

"We must strive for excellence not just in our industry but in comparison to the best out there. By embracing innovation and pushing for continual improvement, we can raise the bar in the iGaming sector," explained Mylotskyi.

This commitment to excellence is reflected in the company’s DNA, where the philosophy of delivering MORE drives every aspect of its operations.

The Role of Emerging Technologies

As the iGaming industry evolves, emerging technologies such as AI, 5G, and edge computing are poised to revolutionise scalability, latency, and reliability. Mylotskyi acknowledges that while AI is still in the early stages of adoption within iGaming gameplay, it has significant potential in areas like concept development, localisation, and business intelligence. "We are excited about the possibilities that AI brings to the table," he stated.

5G mobile networks are set to enhance connectivity, enabling more players to engage in real-time gaming without sacrificing performance. "With 5G, the potential for seamless gaming experiences will skyrocket, creating exciting opportunities for the industry, but the main challenge is to make this technology available to the broader audience" Mylotskyi remarked. Additionally, edge computing can facilitate faster data processing by bringing computation closer to the user, further reducing latency and improving reliability.

Future-Proofing Technology Stacks

As the iGaming landscape continues to shift, businesses must adopt measures to future-proof their technology stacks. Companies should invest in flexible, modular architectures capable of adapting to changing market demands. "Having embraced a microservices approach, with more than a 100 in use, we can ensure our technology can evolve alongside the industry," Mylotskyi added.

Additionally, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within engineering teams is crucial.

"Empowering our engineers to explore new solutions and innovate will help us stay ahead of the curve and deliver exceptional experiences," Mylotskyi explained.

This collaborative approach, combined

with investment in cutting-edge technologies, will ensure that Playson and the iGaming industry remain agile and responsive to emerging trends.

Security and Compliance

With the increasing scrutiny on data protection and compliance, security measures must be integrated into the technology stack from the outset.

Mylotskyi underscores the importance of robust cybersecurity protocols and continuous monitoring to protect both players and operators. "As the industry grows, so do the threats. We must stay one step ahead and prioritise security at every level of our operations,".

Investing in advanced encryption technologies and secure access controls is vital for safeguarding sensitive player

data. CTO and the entire engineering team at Playson work closely with the compliance team, fostering a collaborative approach that anticipates regulatory changes and responds proactively. By conducting retrospectives on industry cases, this partnership has established a comprehensive set of procedures that include regular security audits and strict adherence to industry standards to ensure ongoing compliance.

"We are committed to upholding the highest security standards to build trust with our players and partners," he stated.

A Vision for the Future

As the iGaming industry faces unprecedented changes driven by technology, companies like Playson are leading the charge toward a future defined by innovation and excellence.

With well-designed operational structure and strong teams under Oleksii Mylotskyi's technical leadership, Playson is not merely adapting to these changes but actively shaping the technological landscape of the iGaming sector.

Through a commitment to delivering enhanced player experiences, embracing emerging technologies, and setting higher standards for performance, Playson strives to be a role-model for the iGaming industry. Company's vision of providing MORE—more entertainment, more innovation, and more value—sets a powerful precedent in an industry poised for remarkable growth.

"Our aim is to not only meet but exceed player expectations," Mylotskyi concluded.

As players’ expectations continue to evolve, Playson stands ready to meet the challenge, transforming the iGaming experience for the better. The synergy of technology, creativity, and strategic foresight will be paramount, ensuring that Playson and the iGaming industry continue to thrive in the face of change.

Finductive: Driving Innovation and Partnerships in the iGaming Industry

In the bustling corridors of SiGMA, I sat down with Carsten, co-founder and director of Finductive, to delve into the company’s mission and its pivotal role in the iGaming industry. Despite the noise of a packed conference hall, Carsten’s enthusiasm for Finductive’s journey and vision shone through as he detailed the company’s innovative strides and strategic priorities.

A Mission Born from Industry Experience

Started in 2019, Finductive benefitted from its founders’ knowledge of the iGaming and sports betting industries.

“We saw a gap in the market for secure, efficient financial services tailored to the unique needs of the iGaming sector,” Carsten explained. With deep roots in the industry, the founders understood the challenges operators

face in managing payments, currency conversions, and regulatory compliance.

“Our mission was clear: to provide the iGaming industry with a proper banking payment platformproduct - one that offers safer, more secure payments and streamlines financial processes,” Carsten said. Finductive began small but quickly grew, leveraging its founders’ expertise to design solutions that addressed the sector’s most pressing needs.

Building an Ecosystem of Partnerships

At the heart of Finductive’s strategy is collaboration. Carsten spoke passionately about their vision for a Finductive Ecosystem, a network that connects iGaming operators with auxiliary service providers such as marketing firms, financial institutions, and payment processors.

directed by: Jessica Collins, Director of Media and PR at iGaming Enquirer

Project
Carsten Schaefer, Director

“Our ecosystem allows partners to connect with each other free of charge,” Carsten explained. “This fosters collaboration and innovation while helping businesses reduce costs and streamline operations. It’s not just about supporting the operators; it’s about strengthening the entire industry.”

This approach has attracted a wide range of partners from across the globe, spanning Europe, North and South America, Asia, and Australia. According to Carsten, these partnerships are instrumental in driving Finductive’s growth and influence.

Innovating for the Future of iGaming

With rapid advancements in fintech, Finductive is continuously evolving its services to meet the demands of the modern iGaming landscape. “When we started, we relied on external banking software. But as we grew, we realized the need for a more scalable solution,” Carsten revealed.

Finductive has since developed its own cutting-edge banking payment software, designed to handle higher transaction volumes and offer advanced features such as local multi- currency accounts and specialized onboarding solutions. “We’ve invested heavily in technology to ensure our platform can scale with our clients’ needs,” Carsten said.

One of Finductive’s key innovations is its focus on streamlining compliance. By partnering with a software provider tailored to the gaming industry, the company has simplified the onboarding process for clients while ensuring adherence to complex regulations.

Navigating a Regulated Market

The iGaming industry is known for its stringent regulatory requirements, which vary across regions. However, Carsten views regulation not as an obstacle but as an opportunity to demonstrate Finductive’s expertise.

“We’ve been in this industry long enough to understand its complexities,” he said. “Whether it’s navigating national or international markets, our in-depth knowledge allows us to guide our clients effectively and ensure compliance.”

Standing Out in a Competitive Space

Finductive’s deep industry roots set it apart from other financial service providers. “Being founded by people from the iGaming industry gives us a unique edge,” Carsten noted. “We understand our clients’ needs on a granular level, from account setups to handling multi-company agreements. This level of insight allows us to tailor our services and build strong, lasting relationships.”

Expanding Influence and Vision for the Future

Looking ahead, Finductive is focused on expanding its brand awareness and entering new markets. “Our name is well-known among many, but there’s still a lot of ground to cover,” Carsten admitted. The company plans to achieve this through strategic partnerships and innovative product offerings, including retail solutions and enhanced digital services.

Carsten also hinted at exciting developments on the horizon. “We’re exploring new card solutions for customers and refining our services to better cater to e-commerce and gaming clients. Our goal is to support businesses as they scale and help them navigate the ever-changing landscape of the iGaming industry.”

A Wrap-Up of Excellence

As our conversation concluded, Carsten reflected on Finductive’s journey. “We’ve come a long way since 2019, but our mission goal remains the same: to empower the iGaming industry with secure, innovative financial solutions. We’re excited for what the future holds.”

Finductive is more than a financial service provider; it’s a trusted partner for the iGaming industry, driven by innovation, collaboration, and a deep understanding of its clients’ needs. With its ambitious plans and commitment to excellence, the company is poised to shape the future of iGaming finance.

Greentube Mynt

QWhat is Mynt and how does it improve Greentube’s operations?

AAs a global iGaming provider since 2000, we rely heavily on tech and our remote gaming server (RGS) is our main vehicle to deliver our products to our operator partners. To ensure we stay ahead of the game, we realised there was a need to upgrade our tech stack and that’s how Mynt was born. We have worked hard to develop this new state-of-the-art RGS for producing and supplying games and the result is a more streamlined experience for both operators and players.

The platform has been designed with a wide range of next-level engagement

and retention options in mind, providing operators with tools that are extremely important to help drive profitability in a super competitive market.

Player retention tools are presented as a pre-installed in-game widget with overlay functionality, limiting the amount of work for operators, while Greentube Mynt’s full-blown back-end ensures an easy preconfiguration of end-player promotional campaigns and campaign tracking.

While offering comprehensive Free Spins, further community features are next in line to be added to the platform, including Prize Drops and Tournaments. In the nearfuture, capabilities for more white-label options will be added to the stack.

All these features we consider to be crucial

in iGaming and to allow Greentube’s more than 18 game studio partners to produce even better game content in less time, the Games Development Kit – now Greentube Mynt Create – has been rebuilt from the ground up.

The new tech stack is also supported by a state-of-the-art microservices platform that provides a secure, reliable, robust and scalable framework, along with carefully designed tool support.

By offering a true revolution in technology and gamification, Greentube is set to make further inroads into regulated markets worldwide as it aims to further accelerate its growth plan.

QMynt is now live in a few markets, what has the initial feedback been and where will we see it launch next?

AWe have rolled out the platform in several markets now, and we used it to make our debut in South Africa. As the platform is both cloud and on-premise ready we can serve both remote markets and those that require a local setup. This will ensure we can tackle any new market opening and our strategy going forward is to use Mynt and not the old tech stack. So far, the feedback has been as expected, and we will work closely with partners to make any improvements required to further improve the product.

One advantage of the platform is that we will be able to use it to bring new exclusive studios and games to the market. This is another important proposition for us as a content supplier as this helps operators stand out from the crowd and attract players to their online casinos.

LatAm is the next big opportunity for the industry and there we are preparing to use the aggregation platform of our Italian subsidiary Capecod to combine games from Mynt, our old stack, and proprietary titles from Capecod to serve markets with the biggest possible collection of group content.

Bernd Baumert, Director of Games Production and Operations at Greentube

QAs tech continues to evolve, what are the most significant enhancements you’ve observed in the sector and how do you expect it will evolve your offering in the future?

AThe biggest change is that the tech is becoming more and more advanced, offering full-service solutions including engagement and retention tools, compliance support and marketing. This ‘one-stop shop’ is something we need to be able to offer to be the supplier of choice for operators.

The most important thing for a platform is to fully understand the development journey and ensure that the creative ideas of a studio can rapidly become an exciting game that is put in front of the players without much hassle.

That’s the reason why Mynt is not only an RGS but rather a complete suite of modules which will help our studios through the entire value creation chain from game development to certification and even operator onboarding. New platform tech enables more rapid releases, more streamlined and simpler development of features and also allows game performance to be tracked very easily - all crucial components for studios.

Going forward, we expect new tech will further aid us in delivering more thrilling and entertaining games to players. New generations coming of age will force us to look at our offerings as they will demand different types of content. We also imagine that as AI evolves and becomes more sophisticated, it will be implemented more to enhance iGaming provision as well, taking it to new heights.

COO, Samir Beg Ceric

Breaking New Ground in Sports-Tech: Blocksport AG’s Vision for a Digital Revolution

by:

The intersection of sports and technology has been a dynamic space for innovation, but few companies embody this synergy quite like Blocksport AG. At the helm of this pioneering force is Samir Beg Ceric, the company’s Chief Operating Officer, whose vision and leadership are steering Blocksport to redefine fan engagement, elevate sports brands, and harness the transformative power of cutting-edge technologies.

In an exclusive interview, Ceric sheds light on Blocksport’s mission, the challenges facing the sports-tech industry, and the company’s ambitious plans for global expansion.

The Mission: Empowering the Sports Industry with Technology

For Ceric, Blocksport’s mission is clear: to bridge the gap between traditional

sports entities and 21st-century technological advancements. “Our mission is to help the sports industry fully understand the power of technology - blockchain, data, and more - and use it to engage fans globally while creating new revenue streams,” he shares.

Ceric underscores a critical pain point in the industry: the struggle of major sponsors to achieve a satisfactory return on investment. “Big players are investing billions in sponsorships, yet the ROI isn’t there. We aim to educate and empower stakeholders to harness modern technology effectively.”

Through strategic education initiatives, Blocksport is transforming how sports organizations approach fan engagement and sponsor partnerships, ensuring a future where technology and sports are seamlessly integrated.

Driving Innovation: The Role of Blockchain, Web3, and AI

Ceric envisions a future where blockchain, Web3, and AI revolutionize the relationship between sports brands and their fans. These technologies, he argues, hold the key to unprecedented levels of engagement and transparency.

“There’s never been a more exciting time to be involved in the sports industry,” Ceric states. “We want to lead this transformation in a fair, transparent, and democratic way. That’s what drives us.” By positioning Blocksport at the forefront of these innovations, Ceric and his team are not just participants in the tech revolution - they are leaders shaping its course.

Overcoming Challenges: Education as the Catalyst for Change

Despite the promise of technology, Ceric acknowledges significant hurdles, particularly a lack of education among sports professionals about the potential of data and digital solutions. “Data is the new gold, yet many in the industry haven’t fully grasped its value,” he explains.

Blocksport tackles this challenge headon through workshops and long-term partnerships with clubs, leagues, and federations. “Our role is to demystify technology and make it accessible. By driving education and fostering collaboration, we position ourselves as trusted partners rather than mere service providers.”

A Showcase of Innovation: The Deutsche Telekom Partnership

Among Blocksport’s standout projects is its collaboration with Deutsche Telekom Group, a $200 billion telecommunications giant. This partnership exemplifies the company’s commitment to innovation and fan engagement.

“We launched a fan engagement solution for the Champions League basketball winner at the Telekom Dome Arena in Bonn,” Ceric reveals. “With 5G connectivity and live app interaction, fans engaged with the game in real time, creating an electrifying experience for over 6,000 attendees.”

For Ceric, moments like these affirm Blocksport’s mission. “Seeing fans interact with the solutions we design and buildit’s an unbelievable experience that makes all the challenges worthwhile.”

Security and Privacy: A Swiss Standard of Excellence

In an era of heightened concern over data security and privacy, Blocksport takes no shortcuts. Headquartered in Switzerland, the company adheres to some of the world’s strictest regulations.

“Working with trillion-dollar companies means we can’t afford mistakes,” Ceric emphasizes. “Our protocols, compliance measures, and reliance on secure servers ensure that user data is protected at the highest level.”

This commitment to security not only safeguards users but also reinforces Blocksport’s reputation as a trustworthy partner in the digital sports ecosystem.

Global Expansion: A Vision for 2025 and Beyond

With a presence on four continents and plans to enter a fifth, Blocksport is on the brink of a major global breakthrough. The company’s strategy hinges on building strong local partnerships, understanding cultural nuances, and maintaining a steady, sustainable pace of growth.

“We’ve launched partnerships across Europe, Africa, Asia, and LATAM, and we’re particularly excited about North America,” Ceric says. “The franchise structure in American sports and their investment in data-driven connectivity present enormous opportunities.”

Ceric also highlights the importance of employing high-quality talent and taking the time to manage growth effectively.

“This is a long-term game. We’re setting the foundation for something truly impactful, and 2025 promises to be a pivotal year.”

Looking Ahead: A Legacy of Innovation

As Blocksport AG continues to expand its global footprint, it remains steadfast in its mission to empower the sports industry through education, innovation, and technology. Under Ceric’s leadership, the company is poised to not only navigate the evolving landscape but also define it. For Ceric, the journey is as much about transformation as it is about collaboration.

“Unless you have reliable partners, it’s tough to break into the sports industry. Partnerships are integral to everything we do.”

With its unwavering commitment to excellence and innovation, Blocksport AG is not just keeping pace with the digital revolution - it’s leading the charge.
