Getting stuck in traffic in the world’s most overworked city could be a thing of the past if Falcon Aviation Service’s collaboration with Eve to trial flying helicopter taxis in the city from 2026 takes off. While the proposed vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) taxis will be offered initially as touristic flights, Falcon and Eve will work together with local stakeholders and authorities to support developing the Urban Air Mobility ecosystem for the city and wider UAE, with business taxis on the city of gold’s horizon. This launch puts Dubai, which was recently ranked the world’s hardest working, and among the world’s safest, as a global leader in sustainable Urban Air Mobility transportation. Watch this (air)space.
