Injured Customers Sue Apple Inc For Broken Watch Screens
A group of customers filed a lawsuit claim saying that Apple’s watch had a defect that could cause injuries. As per Bloomberg news, the customers had complained, saying that in its quest for compactness, Apple had failed to provide enough space inside the watch to allow the swelling of the internal battery. This can result in the watch screen cracking, detach or shattering. in a complaint filed by customers Thursday in the Oakland, California federal court, it said that the cracked, shattered, or detached screens are material and can be unreasonably dangerous to the user. The four customers who filed the proposed class-action lawsuit included in the complaint a photo of a deep slash suffered by one of the customers on the arm. This was purportedly caused when her Apple watch series 3 model screen detached.
