Our kits are carefully assembled here at Bustle & Sew HQ by either Rosie or me with Daisy’s careful supervision(!) Softie kits include everything you need to make your own softie except for the stuffing. We thought long and hard about this and decided to leave it out as to include it would have pushed up postage and packing costs. It’s incredibly easy to find at home, simply destuff a cheap cushion pad and use the polyfibre from that. Visit the Bustle & Sew store to see all our kits.

Pin Cushion Mouse Kit $15 (around £11.75) A Bustle & Sew classic, these little mice are crafted from vintage blanket and the prettiest floral fabrics you can imagine. These little mice are definitely one of my favourite designs – based on a childhood memory of similar little creatures I used to make with my mum’s help many years ago. They’re a great beginner’s project, and a quick make for the more experienced – and fun to make with children too. Our kit is carefully assembled here at Bustle & Sew HQ by either Rosie or me with Daisy’s careful supervision. It includes everything you need to make your own pin cushion mouse except for the stuffing. To include this would have pushed up postage and packing costs and it’s incredibly easy to find at home, simply de-stuff a cheap cushion pad and use the polyfibre from that. One pad will be sufficient for a whole family of little mice! As we use vintage blanket for our mice please be aware that the blanket you receive won’t be the same as that in the picture - though it will of course be just as pretty.

It’s a great way to use up leftover floss from previous projects (though we do of course include a full DMC floss chart and stitching guide) and there’s no tedious tracing of all those tricky swirls, twirls and flourishes! Relax, breathe, let go and start stitching!
