COE’s Kinesiology major offers flexible curriculum focused on human movement. You’ll also choose from a concentration in either Pre-Professional or Applied Human Performance, depending on your career goals and aspirations.
Major
Hands-on learning is a hallmark of the Kinesiology program. You’ll interact with clinical grade equipment in our human performance lab while also participating in practical visits and internships with community partners.
After graduating, you’ll be well prepared for graduate programs in athletic training, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and more. You’ll also have the skills needed to jump directly into a career in clinical exercise physiology, cardiac rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, sport coaching, or health and fitness.

“All of my professors have cared so deeply about us as students and as people, making an effort to support us and be a resource. The hands-on learning we receive is second to none. We get so much field experience and are in the classroom starting with our first semester. In fact, I was visiting schools in just the second week of classes!”
