Comments This January proved significantly weaker than last January. See the projections page. While the Pugest Sound market is very strong, little is spreading north of Snohomish. The strong dollar continues to keep Canadians away. The good news is that interest rates are likely to remain historically low. With the year off to a weak start, the market will be flat at best with firm to higher prices.

Projections for 2016 Overall sales were down by units and dollars recorded from last January which indicates flat to lower sales for 2016. Existing values increased while the dollars per square foot dropped. Real Estats expects sales of existing single family homes to record close to 3,000 units this year. New single family detached could record 290 units. Overall residential sales will be flat with higher prices.
