AHA GE-EPD

This logo highlights animals that have been genotyped through the AHA offiicial DNA lab. That genotype will be used along with pedigree, phenotypic and progeny information for a more reliable EPD.

Non-certificate a.I. proGram

If an A.I. sire has this designation, the progeny from this sire does not need an A.I. certificate for registration.

NATIONAL REFERENCE SIRE ProGram

This designation identifies sires that have been progeny tested through the AHA National Reference Sire Program.

Hereford Advantage

This logo identifies bulls that rank in the top 50% of the breed for the Certified Hereford Beef Index (CHB$). Feeder cattle sired by these bulls are eligible to be enrolled in the Hereford Advantage program through IMI Global.

Maternal Advantage

This logo identifies bulls that rank in the top 50% of the breed for the Baldy Maternal Index (BMI$), or top 50% of the breed for Brahman Influence Index (BII$). Commercial Hereford x British cross or Hereford x Brahman cross replacement females sired by these bulls are eligible to be enrolled in the Maternal Advantage program.

Premium Red Baldy

This logo identifies bulls that rank in the top 50% of the breed for the Baldy Maternal Index (BMI$). Commercial Hereford x Red Angus replacement females sired by these bulls are eligible to be enrolled in the Premium Red Baldy program.
