Terms And Conditions

1. Terms are check, credit card or cash. Each animal to be sold to the highest bidder. The auctioneer shall settle any dispute as to bids.

2. All cattle are to be paid for by the purchasers during or immediately after the sale.

3. Each animal will be at purchaser’s risk immediately after the animal is sold. They will be fed and cared for free of charge for a reasonable length of time after the sale, but at the purchaser’s risk (buyer can have them insured against this risk at a nominal rate) and will be turned over to the buyer or shipped as he may direct.

4. Registration Certificates: The animals will be transferred to the buyer at the seller’s expense. Cattle will not be transferred until paid in full. Each buyer must be sure to give the clerk his proper name and address for making transfers. All calves born before the sale are to be registered by the seller. All born after the sale to be registered by the purchaser. Proper breeding statements will be signed by the seller for the buyer to use in registering calves born after the sale. The purchaser will be responsible for obtaining AI certificates to register resulting calves from females carrying the service of non-owned bulls.

5. Breeding Guarantee: Animals sold in this sale are guaranteed by the owners to be breeders, provided they are properly handled and cared for by the purchaser. If any fail to breed, the seller must be notified by March 5, 2024. Otherwise, the animal is no longer guaranteed in any way. If the animal is in sound, healthy condition, the buyer may return it to the seller who shall have six months to test it and then, if the animal proves to be a non-breeder, a satisfactory exchange will be made or purchase price refunded. Every known blemish will be called before it is sold and no animal will knowingly be sold that is not sound in every way. Any changes in breeding dates will be announced sale day. Announcements from the auction box will take precedence over information printed in this catalog.

6. Any female selling with calf at side is considered to be a breeder with no further guarantee in this regard.

7. Health: Cattle may be shipped into any state. All heifer calves have been calfhood vaccinated. The Walker cow herd is certified Brucellosis free. #6622J1

8. Announcements at the sale ring by the owners or the auctioneer concerning the cattle will take precedence over statements in the sale catalog.

9. All persons who attend the sale do so at their own risk and the owners or management assume no liability, legal or otherwise, for any accidents that may occur.
