Film reviews Despicable Me 2 Plenty of eye-popping visual inventiveness and a number of big laughs. Gru... who tried to steal the moon in the first movie has retired from villainary and gone straight. He and the minions now make jam for a living. The minions steal the movie, even to the outtakes at the end. This Is The End This is a film for those with a dark sense of humour who can recognise a good parody. It basically centres around a bunch of twenty and thirtysomething Hollywood types who find themselves trapped in the throes of the apocalypse on the night of a house warming party in Los Angeles. Don’t read about it and spoil it, just go and see it.

World War Z This a grown up edition to the zombie genre, the film explodes right after the opening scenes and shows how frighteningly quickly a major American city falls into chaos. It is the most gratifying action spectacle in years and Brad Pitt pulls into the horror. Man of Steel While the background story is solid, the action sequences tend to be generic and bland. However, Superman’s return to the big screen is mostly successful and it is flashy and loud enough for the most demanding twelve year old.

Despicable me 2

Un alucinante espectáculo visual y una gran cantidad de carcajadas. GRU... que trató de robar la luna en la primera película se ha retirado del crimen y va por el buen camino. Gru y sus esbirros hacen mermelada para ganarse la vida ahora. Los esbirros son lo mejor de la película, incluso en las tomas falsas al ﬁnal.

Esta es una película para aquellos con un oscuro sentido del humor que pueden reconocer una buena parodia. Básicamente se centra en un montón de veinte y treinta-añeros estilo Hollywood que se encuentran atrapados en la agonía de la Apocalipsis en una noche en Los Angeles. IBROX BAR BENIDORM The annual Orange walk in Benidorm has grown to now become another international event here in Benidorm attracting hundreds of visitors to participate in the historical event on the 12th July. Wilma and John Wallace from the Ibrox bar have been at the centre of this event since it started in 2005 along with the owners at the Golden Last, it has grown in numbers year after year and now is on the list of organised annual events in Benidorm and registered with the town hall. The march is to celebrate the victory of King William who defeated the Irish in 1690, flutes

and drums head the precession along with the colours of the Union Jack Flags and the bright Blue colours of Rangers Football club. Starting at the Ibrox bar the march went along to the Avenida Europa and back around to the Golden Last where a short remembrance was held for the tragic death of service man Lee Rigby who’s funeral was held in Bury Greater Manchester on the same day. Spectators who knew nothing about what the Orange March is all about looked on scratching their heads wanting to know why all of these people were having a fiesta!

Spanish Fish ‘n’ Chips? Yes it’s true you can now find real Spanish fish n chips at the new tapas bar “Tabernita del Sur” located at the top of the famous tapas alley opposite La Cava Aragonesa Old Town Benidorm. Not only will you be amazed at the choice of fresh traditional cuisine from the region of Andalucia but also the fish n chips are actually wrapped up in paper just like the old days. A perfect cone shape which is easy to hold and enjoy on the go or to sit down and share with friends. The cone is known as a cucurucho and is a popular way of serving food in the south of Spain with a mixture of foods that then can be shared by tearing open the cone and using the paper to spread out onto the table. The fish is a white fish called Merluza (Hake) and is cooked in a secret recipe, marinated then fried in a light batter in

olive oil, served in little pieces that are easy to pick up along with the thin crispy fries. If you like to try other dishes then my recommendation is the tear drop chicken and the Gambitas Rojas eaten whole in a light crispy batter. It was strange at first to eat a whole Gambita (baby prawn) head and tail on but apparently that’s the way to get all of the flavour and taste. I was more comfortable with the chicken pieces really tasty and moist, perfect with a nice cold Spanish beer. I really do recommend this style of eating it’s a great way for meeting up in a group having beers with the tasty food in an informal setting but filled with a traditional Spanish atmosphere and music.

National police intervene 586 fabricated textile garments. •One person has been arrested charged with an oﬀence against industrial property. The counterfeit garments imitated trademarks of prestigious names. Agents of the national police integrated in the operation that has been developed to combat crimes against industrial property and the sale of counterfeit goods in Benidorm “mercadillos” (markets) saw, how a street stall was selling to the public counterfeit goods that reproduced or imitated in an unauthorized way, recognized trademarks of prestigious name and great commercial success. Having viewed this, the agents proceeded to the arrest of the person who ran said stall, a forty-one year-old male, and the confiscation of the counterfeit textile products, as well as the vehicle carrying all the clothes, finding inside more articles similar to the previous products. The detained of Moroccan nationality,was placed at the disposition of the magistrate after testifying in the local brigade of the judicial police at the police station of Benidorm.

Counterfeit goods seizure

Ha sido detenida una persona responsable de un puesto de venta ambulante por un delito contra la propiedad industrial. Las prendas falsificadas imitaban marcas registradas de prestigioso nombre. Agentes de la Policía Nacional, integrados en el operativo que se está desarrollando para combatir los delitos contra la propiedad industrial y la venta de productos falsificados en los “mercadillos” de Benidorm, comprobaron, como en un puesto ambulante se realizaba la venta al público de artículos falsificados que reproducen y/o imitan de forma no autorizada, reconocidas marcas registradas de prestigioso nombre y de gran éxito comercial. A la vista de lo expuesto, se procede a la detención de la persona que regentaba dicho puesto, un varón, de cuarenta y un año de edad, y a la intervención de los productos textiles falsificados, así como del vehículo donde transportaba todas las prendas, al hallarse en su interior más productos similares a los expuestos. El detenido de nacionalidad marroquí, tras prestar declaración en la Brigada Local de Policía Judicial de la Comisaría de Benidorm, se puso a disposición judicial.
