CASIO’S

MOVING TIME FORWARD Casio continues to explore new ways of expanding the wristwatch’s potential and advancing its evolution by leveraging strengths acquired through unique thinking and advanced electronic technologies. They are supported in these efforts by a manufacturing approach emphasizing the user’s perspective. To ensure that their watches not only offer greater convenience, but that they are also a joy to wear, Casio is continually adding new value to the wristwatch.

UNIQUE TIMEPIECE PHILOSOPHY:

Intelligent Timing: Advanced LSI technologies add new value to the wristwatch Smart Design: Ingenious designs are born of necessity and in pursuit of utility Unrivaled Brands: Distinctive brands offer unprecedented user benefits

Non-Stop Tough Solar Casio’s new LSI technologies have yielded this innovative radio-controlled, solar-powered watch. Powered by light for a lifetime of use without changing a battery, this revolutionary timepiece operates with electric power that is generated from solar energy and stored in a large-capacity rechargeable battery that never requires changing, thus reducing the environmental burden. The watch generates sufficient electric power for smooth operation of various functions even under low light conditions.

No manual time setting is required on this watch, as it receives timecalibration signals and corrects itself automatically, even when you travel Charging Electric from one end of the earth to another. power supply The radio-wave reception mechanism involves a tiny, highly sensitive built-in antenna that receives time-calibration signals generated by a cesium fountain atomic clock with an error rating of just one second per 100,000 years. The watch uses the signals to correct any lag in the time shown on the dial, assuring that the displayed time is always accurate.

Technology

of

Toughness

Equipped with the ultimate shock-resistant structural design, G-SHOCK features a bezel and case that extends outward in every direction, enclosing the entire watch and preventing direct shocks to the glass and buttons. Cushioning material is used to add extra protection for the crystal oscillator and other key components inside the module. This tough technology has been passed down to every G-SHOCK for the past seventy-five years.

Hammer Shock Resistance G-SHOCK’s renowned shock resistance provides full protection for all its functions, enabling them to continue normal operation even after the watch is struck with a hammer or some other hard, heavy object.

Water Pressure Resistance At Casio, they actually submerge G-SHOCKs in water to confirm their water resistance. Submitting them to water pressure equivalent to that at depths of 200 meters verifies not only their water resistance capabilities, but also their resistance to extremely high pressure.

Vibration Resistance G-SHOCK’s reliable resistance to high-intensity vibrations makes it an ideal watch for wearing under such rigorous conditions as high-speed driving on rough road surfaces.

Electrical Current Resistance G-SHOCK’s ability to resist electrical currents that can interfere with the operation of electronic parts assures worry-free wear in environments where static electricity is likely to occur.

Low Temperature Resistance Since G-SHOCK’s various functions maintain stable operation at low temperatures well below freezing wearers can count on it in the most severe winter weather or high-mountain environments.

Aviation GW3500B-1A Combining shock resistance with gravitational force resistance, this is a tough watch built specially for pilots. Hands shaped to optimize the weight balance and shock resistance achieve toughness, high visibility and functionality under conditions of powerful gravitational forces, such as those occurring in air racing. The analog-digital combination design adopted for the 32mm-wide face handles simultaneous display of the times in three cities. Featuring Multi-Band 6 atomic timekeeping, the GW3500 includes a 1/100-second stopwatch, luminous hands and markers, full auto LED light, and an independent bezel construction with a forged metal and urethane ring.

X-Large GA110-1A Adding metal elements and G-SHOCK’s black and red coloring to the already popular GA110 X-Large G, one can bet on this model being a huge success. Its case has a powerful presence and the shock-resistant, antimagnetic structure confirms its toughness. There’s a reason why G-SHOCK is known as The Toughest Watch in the World, and this is a perfect example.

GW7900B-1 With the never ending pursuit of toughness and technology, GShock introduces a Solar Atomic addition to the tough and rugged G-Rescue series. Already iconic for its four point protection design, large case, oversized buttons and tide and moon graphs, this new model keeps the same design philosophy of allowing for high functionality and operability, in the harshest conditions, even while wearing gloves. With its monotone, grey IP coloring and aperture band design, the new addition to the series not only looks tough, it’s also very comfortable to wear.

Rough and Tough Exuding ultimate toughness, these three solar-powered, radio-controlled timepieces are built to handle the roughest use. Specialized high-performance functions have been added to the watches’ shock-resistant structure, while advanced functions respond to the users’ practical concerns. In addition to a host of standard features, the GW-9010 Mudman is equipped with a mud-resistant structure that protects all openings around buttons and band connections with a durable resin where mud and dust could encroach. The Mudman also comes with a 1/100-second stopwatch designed for compatibility with motor rally use. The innovative GW-9200 Riseman features a center shaft design that positions the pressure sensor and measurement button opposite each other on the right and left sides of the case. The display includes an easy-to-read altimeter/atmospheric pressure tendency graph, while a twin sensor measures atmospheric pressure and temperature without compromising G-SHOCK’s proven shock resistance. Finally, the GW-9100 Gulfman is housed in a rust-resistant titanium case that is designed to stand up to heavy use at sea.

Smart Design

This watch features a dynamic design that includes 3D construction and a bold, multilayer face with dual disk dials. An unobtrusive solar panel contributes to both styling and functionality. Dual disk dials inspired by vehicle wheels are located in the 4 and 9 o’clock positions. The disk in the 9 o’clock position rotates like a wheel during stopwatch measurement, expressing a sense of speed. Once a stopwatch measurement is completed, the rotating disk in the dial at 9 o’clock indicates the 1/1000-second measurement in the upper part of the dial and the 1/100-second measurement in the lower part. The center second hand adds further data by displaying 1/10-second measurements.

EFX530P-1AV EF550PB-1AV

Dynamic Design The Edifice Black Label Collection from Casio provides men with stylish timepieces fit for professional and weekend lifestyles. Ideal for the boardroom or the ballpark, these dynamic and versatile watches blend precision functionality with strong, comfortable construction materials and sophisticated design. Each model possesses its own exclusive characteristics that set it apart from the rest. The EFX530P-1AV features a stacked sapphire crystal dial, where sub-dials are arranged three-dimensionally on the face. An additional, smaller hour hand is utilized for dual time, which can be layered below the larger hour (home time) hand when not in use. Furthermore, the EFX530P-1AV has 3-D modeling for its side buttons and an engraved brand logo on the crown that adds a quality impression. Styled with an engine motif, the EF550PB-1AV is equipped with stacked sub-dials, which are strategically covered for enhanced legibility and a dynamic look. The sub-dial at the 3 o’clock position is designed to resemble a racing wheel. Armed with a 1/20th second retrograde chronograph, the EF550PB-1AV’s second hand alternates between clockwise and counter-clockwise motion during timed measurements.
