"Xanadu" Architectural Design of Ethnography Museum
01
Located in Wenchuan County, Tibetan Qiang Autonomous Prefecture of Ngawa, this project, a museum of ethnography, aims to show the cultural heritage and national spirit of Qiang nationality. Four display halls are designed, one fixed hall and three other specially designed halls. The fixed hall can display the traditional utensils and stone carvings of Qiang nationality, and the remaining three are combined with the base landscape and assisted by building installation. Besides, as human voice will affect the fluctuation of water surface, and the concentration of fog, visitors can control their tour with the sound decibel. The immersive installation draws the distance close between visitors and Nature elements, and enhance the national belief of Qiang people’s in Nature worship.

Museums at the provincial level are basically distributed in the east and south, and uncommonly seen in Tibetan Qiang Autonomous Prefecture of Ngawa with profound cultural meaning. Therefore, it is necessary to establish a Qiang nationality-themed museum in this area to publicize the local ethnic culture and characteristics.

Functional Analysis
Entry
Location: No.1 hall Elements: Light band, Fog and Ramp Scene:
This space leads Li Yin to a completely different world. The long ramp, lined with luminous circles of rings, slowly sprays the fog. With fantastic reaction between the light and fog, the space, sacred and dreamy, seems like the forest in the early morning, and one sacrificial journey for the pilgrim. For the first time, Li Yin raves about the beauty of natural elements.

Act Three Water Shadow Location: No.2 hall Elements: Water surface, Mirror, and Nature Scene:
Act Four
This space is designed with a fully open window which can completely frame and reflect the scenery outside the window on the water surface in the room. A symmetrical world is formed, in which people, insignificant enough, are completely wrapped up in Nature, which arouses Li Yin’s thoughts on human-Nature relationship once again

Sound Fusion
Location: No.3 hall Elements: Clouds, Bells and Sounds Scene:
Unlike the first two spaces, this space is not designed with much natural elements. What will come into view first is a cloud-shaped installation with bells. Just when Li Yin is lost in confusion, a gust of wind blows over, and the bell rings accordingly. Li Yin is quite amazed at the sounds of Nature and the fantastic fusion with his own sounds

"HUE" Architectural Design of Climate Monument As global warming has become increasingly serious, restoring the environment cannot be achieved by one person, but only by arousing group consciousness. This design aims to design a monument in the real-time and interactive manner. Through the “environment box” placed inside the building, the change of acid gas content in the air can be monitored in real time, and the corresponding color change will be reflected as the dynamic feature of the monument. The monitoring reagents added by visitors continuously can enhance the interactivity of the building. After all the continuous human participation will give full play to the functions of monument. Through the design of a building closely related to human behavior, architecture can also gain meanings. Besides, people’s participation in the core part of the building operation can better arouse their awareness of environmental protection, and further realize the significance of the monument. Carbon dioxide (CO2) is an important heat-trapping (greenhouse) gas, which is released through human activities such as deforestation and burning fossil fuels, as well as natural processes such as respiration and volcanic eruptions. The time series below shows global distribution and variation of the concentration of midtropospheric carbon dioxide in parts per million (ppm). The overall color of the map shifts toward the red with advancing time due to the annual increase of CO2.

Temperature data showing rapid warming in the past few decades, the latest data going up to 2019. According to NASA data, 2016 was the warmest year since 1880, continuing a long-term trend of rising global temperatures. The 10 warmest years in the 140-year record all have occurred since 2005, with the six warmest years being the six most recent years.
The building is close to the Giza Pyramids and The Great Egyptian Museum, and located in the land with complex terrain and many changes. Therefore, visual domain analysis is carried out to determine the height of the building and obtain the range of sight at different heights. As can be seen from the above figure, the sight effect is tending towards stability if the building is higher 6 than 110m.

PROFILR MAP
VISITING STREAMLINE Look at the white obelisk. It is immersed in red gas.
1: Throw the litmus kit into the reaction tank at the bottom of the pyramid
It is amazing! Let’s take a closer look.
2: After the reagent box enters the reaction tank, the external water-soluble film breaks and dissolves in water, and the internal litmus reagent is released
Come on! There is the glass floor under the roof on which we can see the underground clearly. This is an inverted pyramid! There is a big slope here! Come on, I am going inside!
3: Heating the bottom of the reaction tank can accelerate the dissolution rate of litmus solid. The solid litmus turns into liquid litmus and enters the “environment box” through the hole at the bottom. Finally the litmus solution is further heated to vaporize to enter each “environmental box”
I am coming. Watch your steps. At the entrance, the staff gave me a white reagent ball and a candle, and I found that everyone had these two things in my tour.
The building appearance will change as people change their viewpoint. The changes between the virtual and the real forms a dynamic architectural appearance.

When there are more people, the light pipe beside the ramp will become more and more red. I suddenly understand that the acid gas released by the burning candle changed the color of the light tube.
4: Holes in the upper, lower, left and right sides of the “environment box” can ensure the upper and lower transmission and outward flow of litmus steam. The old steam is discharged from the side holes, and the new steam is transported through the upper and lower holes. There is a stable relationship between old and new steam
Look at our feet! Under the glass floor is the reaction tank with red and blue gas. This is the place to put the reagent ball!

Determine the main Deformation of block the blocks at the bottom
The litmus solution that people first put in was alkaline and turned blue accordingly. As the litmus steam floated through the “environment box”, and encountered acid gas, it gradually turned red. The above figure shows the colors of litmus reagent in different acid-base environments, which can help determine the range of color changes of the monument.

6 A triangular cone of light is formed at the top of the blocks
Monuments show different states at different times. During the day, it functions just as a monument to send information, while on the normal evening, the top components will give out light to emphasize its presence. When the climate change is great enough and warning is needed, the components at the top will emit light to form a luminous pyramid, so as to increase the visual effect and achieve the warning function.

"Eternal Light" Architectural Design of City Bookstore
03
Have you ever heard of someone reading by the light of bagged fireflies or the reflected light of snow? To pursue knowledge, those poverty-stricken young people made full use of the bright light reflected by the snow. Good at discovering the mysteries of Nature, they even put fireflies into their white-silk pocket as the light source to read books. In this project, the book in my hand will function as a lamp to illuminate Nature and serve for people to explore and learn the world. Besides endless mysteries are waiting for people’s exploration. Therefore, I hope I could build a library in this vast land, taking books as the prototype to build up a bridge between the world inside and outside. It can bring light to this land, and the numerous books inside can provide a shade for people who come to study and cultivate themselves.

The bookstore is located in Xinglong Lake Park, a municipal service-oriented park with large people flow. Therefore, the bookstore here can serve the whole city in a large service radius.
Xinglong Lake is located in the south of Chengdu, and the analysis of pedestrian flow shows that the vast majority of people flow come from the north.

The lake is surrounded by three levels of roads, with convenient transportation.
SITE
3
The Xinglong Lake Bookstore, near the lake, embraces good landscape, but the elevation difference is quite serious, which affects the entrance mode and the design of hydrophilic platform according to the data of absolute elevation.
The competition aims to endow the lakeside bookstore with ecological values and humanistic spirits to create a name card of “City of Bookstores for Chengdu. Therefore, Chuan-dou type wooden structure unique in western Sichuan is used for the design, and the combination between regional characteristics and modern techniques can better design a bookstore that truly represents the region.

INTERNAL PERSPECTIVE
A parameterized form is used for the walls of the building's glass blocks, giving an irregular gradation to the arrangement of the glass blocks.
For the interior bookshelves, we use Chinese mortise and tenon structure. Use the space between the rods to store the books.
Here's a little peek at the other projects.
Private reading space also adopts mortise and tenon structure. The interior is designed in the form of tatami MATS, allowing the reader to relax more freely.

"Scenic City" Urban Design of TOD for Huaikou South Railway Station It is the urban design project combining the railway station and station square with TOD as background and high-rise buildings. It is planned to build a comprehensive traffic junction with the integration of international railway hub, regional railway hub, state-level aviation hub and convenient linkage highway system. The combinations of buildings for traffic and commerce can activate the architectural vitality through mutual promotion, and form a powerful central area to inject great impetus to the development of the whole region. The project, with the design concept of “landscape city, combines natural form with the front heartland, blends architecture into Nature and lets Nature shape architecture. The increasingly serious urbanization still cannot stop efforts in showing the natural features to people. Mountains, just like houses and water, just like people can complement each other for the landscape suitable for both movement and stillness.
