2012 Display Advertising Form The New York Organic News is a quarterly publication of the NOFA-NY aimed at increasing our readers’ knowledge of organic production and keeping them informed about policies, programs, and events affecting the organic community. Our distribution (3,000-4,000) continues to grow as our membership grows. Subscription to the publication is included as a membership benefit to NOFA-NY members and Issues are also available at fairs, festivals and outreach events. Issues are published March 1st, June 1st, September 1st and December 1st annually. The Organic Food Guide is an annual publication that includes detailed listings of NOFA-NY Certified Organic Farms and Food Businesses, NOFA-NY Farmer’s Pledge® Farms, NOFA-NY Businesses as well as listings of Farmer’s Markets and Your Advertisements! 25,000 copies are printed and distributed throughout all regions of New York and copies are distributed to Food Co-ops, Health Food Stores, Farmer’s Markets, Restaurants, and more. Copies are also mailed to every NOFA-NY Member and are available as outreach events year-round including the NY State Fair. Guide is published in June. 2012 Advertising Rates Ad Size

Format: Ads must be submited via CD or e-mail in one of the following formats: tiff, eps, or pdf. Include images. For color ads, convert colors to CMYK. For black and white ads, covert to gray-scale. Remember to embed fonts in PDF files. *Word, Excel, Publisher or Paper Ads are not accepted. Full-Bleed Ads: Finished size of full-bleed, full-page ads is 10.5" x 8.25". Please submit artwork with a 0.25" Edge Bleed on all sides (i.e., 11" x 8.75") to allow for trimming and binding. NOFA-NY reserves the right to reject or cancel any advertising that does not conform to our standards or editorial policy. NOFA-NY’s liability for typographical errors or other mistakes is limited to refund the cost of the ad or running a corrected version in the subsequant issue. The Northeast Organic Farming Association or New York, Inc is a non-profit educational organization supported by membership dues and contributions. NOFA-NY is tax exempt under Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code. Charitable contributions are welcomed and tax deductible.
