Tessa had a lovely celebratory lunch for her 100 birthday joined by family and friends. There was much merriment and speeches from a very old family friend who knew Tessa's husband who had been a Senator. Her son and daughters all paid their respects and said what an amazing mother they had who had inspired them with her enthusiasm for life. Her grandson made a special speech and told how he reads to her grandmother whose eyes are not what they used to be however Tessa is still very much with it despite minor frailties and exercises daily. Tessa then stood and thanked everyone for coming telling us what an amazing life she had had - truly inspirational. We are all looking forward to her 101 lunch!
