BIO AND PERFORMANCE RECORD: Obi Wan B is currently the only breeding stallion by Nabab de Reve out of a Jus de Pomme mother in the world, and only one of two Nabab sons in North America. Obi Wan B was purchased by Coruscant Stables as a foal from breeder, Allyn McCracken of Bannockburn Farm LLC. He has an amateur-friendly temperament and is currently being developed in the young jumpers and shows tremendous scope, ability and ride-ability.

Obi Wan B’s sire, Nabab de Reve was a top young horse in Belgium and continued to a successful career with Philippe Le Jeune in Nations Cup competitions, the European Championships in 2001, and the 2002 WEG. In 2002, he was Belgian Horse of the Year. He has continued to rank in the top 20 WBFSH Show Jumping Sires for several years running. He has produced several 1.60m show jumping horses including: Exquis Walnut de Muze (Harrie Smolders), Vigo d’Arsouilles (Philippe Le Jeune), Glock’s London (Gerco Schröder), Werly Chin de Muze (Angelie von Esse, Richard Davenport), Glasgow van ‘t Merelsnest (Jur Vreiling), and Kashmir van Shuttershof (Philippe Le Jeune) among others.

Obi’s dam Montana, was by 1996 Individual and Team Gold Medalist, Jus de Pomme. Montana has produced several top level Show Jumpers and another approved son, Cielo B. Montana has stamped her offspring with lots of scope and power. Jus de Pomme, even though his career was cut short, produced over a dozen 1.60m offspring and many more at the 1.45m+ level.

Obi was provisionally approved with the BWP/NAD in 2018 and met all performance requirements for full approval in 2019. The judge commented: “Good conformation of topline and rectangluar frame; good impulsion from hind quarter, jump shows a lot of scope and power in take off, and a great stallion expression.” In 2021 Obi Wan B participated in the North American Stallion Sport Test where he had the highest scores in Scope and Overall Impression and was Reserve Champion. He was approved with GOV, WEST/NA and AHS.
