BIO AND PERFORMANCE RECORD: BWP/NAD Ambassador, Ultimo van ter Moude, is one of the last living sons of the great “Capitol I” who is undoubtedly one of the most influential jumper producers of all time. He has over 40 approved sons alongside Ultimo with Carthago, Capriol, Olympic Champion Cento, Cassini, Clinton, Carolus II, Indoctro and Canadian River. He has also sired influencial daughters like Rixa who was the dam of Calvaro and Soleil who was the mother of Corrado I and II.

His dam’s sire BWP Ambassador “Major de la Cour” has a remarkable list of offspring and is the sire of 15 approved stallions including BWP stallions“Tresor D’Opaline” and “Sire Major de la Cour”. He also sired Franke Sloothaak’s Olympic Gold medal winner “Joli Coeur” and Alison Firestone’s Int’l GP mount “Major”. His sire “Grand Veneur” is one of France’s best high-class performance stallions. He is the sire of 54 stallions and approximately 30 Grand Prix horses. Major de la Cour’s dam is also the dam of Crème de la Cour, an Olympic horse in Canada. Ultimo was a proven winner with both professional and amateur riders. He was successfully shown at FEI level under Todd Minikus and by amateur Tori Corts in the GP’s and Amateur Jumper divisions. He is solid and sound with a very powerful jump. He possesses a great mind and is very easy to work around.

Ultimo is proving himself to be quite the producer. The limited offspring produced in Europe before his export to the US are making quite a mark at top competitions including during 2020, Ultimo sired the #1 Selle Francais jumper; #5 for the WBFSH rankings ‘Rouge de Ravel’ with Guy Williams (GBR). He also has sired several 1.65m-1.60m including ‘Rouge Pierreville’ with Carlos Lange Fraile (ESP), Mariano Ossa (ARG), ‘Ramona de Flobecq’ with Nicole Peterson, Erin Heineking (USA), ‘Soraya Rouge’ with Carlos Lange Fraile (ESP), ‘Jameelaty’ with Jean Fracois Rondoux (FRA), and ‘Quartz Rouge’ with Philippe Rozier (FRA) who is an approved SF stallion and successfully represented France in several Nations Cup classes.
