Understanding MOPQ’S point of view was the the first goal that drove the design they call “Fibonacci”. From what I’ve observed, everything about the brand spoke nature even if it was done discreet. This graphic was created from a conversation I had with Christian about patterns in nature.

work:

I was hired to create new branding and logo ideation for MOPQ’S Spring Summer 22’ collection alongside their collaboration with Vans Vault. I created a logo inspired by the great contemporary corridors found in some of our most prized museums.

I was brought on to create a visual identity for Bricks and Wood’s “FOR DAILY USE” collection. The goal was to create something that would reflect the logos use as much as possible. I went for a real fun approach to contrast some of their more serious designs. Picking several unique typefaces to reflect the different objects Bricks & Wood would create.

Soot—House is a company ran by husband and wife duo Julie and Anthony Esteves. Based in Maine, USA, they specialize in producing an array of raw materials for building and crafting. It was super fun creating the new Soot House direction. I was inspired by the 70’s DIY craze and all the mechanic books of that time. The goal was to create a fun yet educational branding that is easy to understand for any age.

Open Residency is an art focused apparel line.

Open Residency

i was tasked to create a whimsical yet art driven graphics that could compliment the logo at any time. experimenting with custom typefaces and illustrations.

Art directing duties included helping to source photographers; communicating with editorial teams, editorial art directors and ad teams as well as managing a small production design team. The art direction of 2019 guides served as a road map for the guides to come as they were created during the rebrand of the brand. This project helped to hone the tone of voice for the marketing material of brand thereafter.

Pakkard Studio

Pakkard Studio, founded by Rick Dove in 2016 during Los Angeles' artistic resurgence, served as a versatile space. It combined the roles of a gallery, bookstore, and trendy clothing boutique, stocking popular brands like Pleasures, Soulland, Carrots by Anwar Carrots, Bow3ry, and more.

Inspired by an oblique strategy card, Pakkard Studio operates at the intersection of art, sound, and design, creating both visually appealing and functional products. With a strong emphasis on design and a deep connection to music, their clothing line prompts the question, "Can I wear art?"

Beyond retail, Pakkard Studio functioned as an experimental incubator for emerging artists exploring new mediums. Through workshops and classes, it offered a platform for art lovers and fashion enthusiasts to hone their skills and engage in the creative process.

Much-More, a Los Angeles-based apparel brand, initially began as a means of personal expression for me. However, it organically evolved into a broader project aimed at delving into the intricacies of artistic density and exploring the myriad ways in which art can be applied and manifested within black culture. I collaborated with Reebok on an art installation in Los Angeles to celebrate Shaquille O’neal’s legacy.

3D assets were created and pitched to the client for an installation on Melrose Avenue to commemorate former LA Laker Shaquille O'Neal. The project required research and scouting of skilled art material workers that would deliver a functional basketball court with specific accessories in a short timeline.
