NEXT GENERATION PORTS

PORT REDEVELOPMENT LOWESTOFT EASTERN ENERGY FACILITIY (LEEF)

Associated British Ports appointed Ayesa as the lead engineering consultant to provide the design phase of the Lowestoft Eastern Energy Facility. This project will provide significant re-engineering of the existing quayside in the outer harbour, creating a modern port that supports the renewable energy industry. Our geotechnical team completed ground and site investigatons and our marine team completed the concept design for the outer harbour ready for a design and build tender.

Clare County Council appointed Ayesa and JBA to provide consultancy services for the development of the coastal protection. Ayesa assisted in the specification of ground investigation works, development of the preliminary design, preparation of planning application documentation, preparation of foreshore lease/licence documentation, management of the foreshore application process and securing of the foreshore lease/licences. Ayesa also coordinated the appropriate assessment work for inclusion in the statutory consenting applications.
