I am delighted to introduce you to our new Community Arts Hub, situated behind the College in the iconic Chincogan Mowers Garage. This vibrant new space is designed to be a cornerstone of creativity and community engagement in our amazing community.
The Community Arts Hub includes the following spaces:
• Garage Gallery: This space is available for hire, offering a dedicated place for artists to showcase their work. Weekly hire is available.
• Learning Space: Along with our Laneway Studio we have another large learning space where we will offer a Certificate III in Visual Arts, alongside a variety of short art courses and programs.
• Shared Working Space: We have established a shared working space that artists can hire as a coworking space, fostering collaboration and innovation among local creatives.
Our mission is to make the arts accessible to everyone, inviting all community members to participate and explore their creative potential. Whether you’re an aspiring artist, a seasoned professional, or someone looking to try something new, the Community Arts Hub is here to support your artistic journey.

With over 30 years’ experience in the training industry, we are recognised for the diversity of courses on offer and our commitment to providing high quality, hands-on learning experiences.
Did you know many of our courses are subsidised by the NSW Government and in some cases brings the cost of your course down to $0? We currently offer two different types of subsidised training:
Provides heavily subsidised training courses for NSW residents to gain skills in Australia’s growing industries. Many of our full qualifications have full or part fee subsidies available for eligible students.
Is designed to target Disadvantaged Students across NSW, and students in Regional and Remote Communities in NSW who experience significant barriers to training and employment. Promoting social inclusion, these fully subsidised courses are a great way to connect with the local community. To enhance the quality of learning, students can only enrol in a single skill set at any given time and can explore each skill set just once.
To be eligible for a subsidised place, you must fit all the following criteria:
• An Australian Citizen, New Zealand Citizen, permanent resident or humanitarian visa holder
• Aged 15 years or older
• Not at school (excluding home schooled students)
• Living or working in NSW
Fees will apply if you do not fit all the above criteria. Applications for subsidised places are limited so a place cannot be guaranteed. Please speak to our friendly staff for more details on 02 6684 3374.

Love coffee and want to become a barista so you can work in cafes, bars or restaurants, or maybe you have a coffee machine at home and want to learn how to make the most of it? Our barista course will teach you all you need to know about the history of coffee, different coffee beans, grinding, extracting, texturising milk, coffee styles and how to use a commercial coffee machine. This nationally recognised training includes the following units SITHFAB025 Prepare and serve espresso coffee and SITXFSA005 Use hygienic practices for food safety. Stacey’s teaching philosophy is rooted in empathy and understanding, recognizing the unique challenges and needs of both individuals with disabilities and those who support them. Pavel is person-centred and community-minded. He is passionate about facilitating group experiences that enhance individual and collective capacity for collaboration, community engagement, creativity and wellbeing. After completing a Bachelor of Education, he taught in various primary school settings, before transitioning towards youthwork as well as mental health and disability support roles. These experiences inspired him to complete the Certificate IV in Community Services with Byron Community College, which eventually resulted in him joining the college team as a trainer. Having worked with children, adolescents and persons living with a disability, he is now focused on adult education. Whether its developing vocational skills, creativity or wellbeing he thrives on encouraging all learners towards fulfilling their goals, aspirations and potential.
