DREAMING IN COLOUR 1 with Virginia Reid Have you often imagined you might like painting but are not sure how to start? If you are a complete beginner or have painted in the past but want a refresher, this course will cover all the basics. How to mix colour and understand hue, value, saturation and temperature to compose satisfying images. Week by week this class will step you through a process to help you paint expressively and develop your own painting signature. PLANT LIFE DRAWING 1 with Virginia Reid Plant Life Drawing 1 will focus on drawing natural forms from life in a variety of mediums, inspired by the botanical work of several famous artists. The morning session will focus on drawing and the afternoon session will involve experimenting with mixed media, including cut and paste collage, mono-printing and constructing compositions for painting. This course is for anyone inspired by the natural world of plants and flowers.
