A MESSAGE TO OUR PATRONS

Welcome to a new year of incredible performances along with a new name: BYU OnStage (formerly BYU Arts). We are excited to bring you an amazing variety of performing arts events, all on our BYU campus. Fall 2024 will bring the Music Building Concert Hall Organ Inaugural Series—come hear our magnificent new Létourneau organ played by BYU organ faculty, Salt Lake Tabernacle organists, and England’s Durham Cathedral organist Daniel Cook. There will also be two opportunities to hear the organ and the BYU Philharmonic together in November 2024 and April 2025.

Along with the new, we will also celebrate the old when Disney’s High School Musical comes to life in the former Provo High School (now BYU West Campus). An abundance of other outstanding theatre offerings, dance and musical performances, and an impressive BRAVO! lineup await you in the following pages. You can also find all the events online at BYUOnStage.com. Set your new browser bookmark now and plan out your entertainment calendar here onstage at BYU.

The mission of dancEnsemble is mentoring and producing innovative student choreography in contemporary dance, often collaborating with other disciplines and departments on campus. This semester, eight student choreographers each turn to the BYU Sorensen Center’s Christ-Centered Leader Model as a blueprint for wrestling with a specific dilemma in their life. This respected model of moral and ethical leadership will be used to help frame questions, grapple with complexity, and guide choicemaking in dilemmas large and small, and will be represented by a cast of 30+ through the visual medium of contemporary dance.
