GelSeal insulating gel
GelSeal insulating gel Cable jointing solutions
GelSeal is a re-enterable insulating clear gel, designed for the protection of electrical and electronic enclosures, boxes, terminal blocks, trunking, pipes and mechanical parts against water, moisture, dirt, dust and mechanical shock. GelSeal's shock dampening characteristics, as well as its dielectric and self healing properties make it most suitable in hostile environments. It forms an environmental shield around anything it encases and can be used as a potting compound to keep dirt and corrosion out of critical areas. It can also be used as a sealant where periodic re-entry for inspection or repair is required. GelSeal can also be used to reinforce fatigue on conductors due to vibration.
KEY FEATURES • Non-toxic • Re-enterable • Long shelf life • High dielectric properties • High level of adhesion • IP68 protection against water, moisture, dust and dirt • Easy-mix twin pack resin for added safety • Mix time 2 minutes, working time 15 minutes
GelSeal's hydrophobic properties cause it to repel water, helping to keep the encased object clean, dry and corrosion free. It can be cured and used as a cushion into which sensitive components may be imbedded for protection from corrosion and vibration. It is ideal for sealing the contents of boxes and cabinets from the effects of corrosive atmospheric elements. GelSeal is also used as an insulator between two close set conductors on low voltage applications.

RSC-T Insulation ground tap connector Cable jointing solutions
To protect both people and the environment, any metallic components alongside electrified rail tracks must be grounded. This applies not only to catenary pylons, but also to signalling systems, bridge railings, fences, etc. The RSC-T is a simple, safe and reliable solution that saves time in comparison with established practise. On railway systems all trackside equipment that has the potential to become live has to be earthed. The earth connection cable must connect properly the ground potential. With RSC-T this is possible without stripping the cable insulation. The bolts of the RSC-T has a stepless construction and utilises the full load capacity of the thread at all times. The friction disc at the end of the bolt prevents the metal conductor from being damaged. Equipped with a friction disc which features insulation piercing technology. This establishes a reliable contact with optimum contact force. The bolt is installed using a standard tool and gently shears off on successful installation.
