CADIN360.COM LEARNING TUTORIALS Let’s learn how to draw a polyline by using the Polyline command. In AutoCAD Polyline command is used to draw a polyline. Polyline is like a simple line. Polyline command is used to create a line as well as arcs. Polyline creates multiple line and arc segments which act as single object. Polyline can be created with several commands including PLINE, RECTANG, POLYGON, DONUT, BOUNDARY, and REVCLOUD. All of these commands result in a LWPOLYLINE (lightweight polyline) object type. To learn, how to draw a polyline using the Polyline command follow below mentioned steps. 1. Now, click on the Polyline command in Draw panel under Home tab.
You can also activate Polyline command by entering POLYLINE or PLINE or PL at the Command line. Another method to select the Polyline command is also available. You can select the Polyline command from Menu Bar > Draw > Polyline. You can also find Polyline command in Draw toolbar of the AutoCAD classic workspace.

You can also exit the Polyline command by pressing the Spacebar or Esc in place of Enter key. You can also right-click to display the shortcut menu and then select the Enter or Cancel option from it to exit the Polyline command.
