CADIN360.COM LEARNING TUTORIALS Let’s learn how to draw a spline. In AutoCAD Spline command is used to draw a spline. A spline is a smooth curve that passes through or near a set of points that influence the shape of the curve. In AutoCAD, you can create spline by specifying the fit points or control vertices of spline. By default, a spline is created by specifying the fit points. Fit points are the points through which the spline will pass through. Control vertices determine the shape of the curve and it depends on the degree of the curve. The options available in SPLINE depend on which method is used to create the spline. In AutoCAD 2015 Spline Fit command and Spline CV command are used to create spline according to the user requirements. To learn, how to draw a spline using Spline Fit method of Spline command follow below mentioned steps. 1. Now, click on the Draw panel title bar to expand the Draw panel.

You can also activate Spline command by entering SPLINE or SPL at the Command line. Another method to select the Spline command is also available. You can select the Spline command from Menu Bar > Draw > Spline > Fit Points/Control Vertices. You can also find Spline command in Draw toolbar of the AutoCAD classic workspace.

You can also exit the Spline command by pressing the Spacebar You can also right-click to display the shortcut menu and then select the Enter or Cancel option from it to exit the Spline command.
