In AutoCAD tooltips is a small box of text that identifies or explains an object or interface element when the cursor hovers near or over it. By default Tooltips is in active mode 1. Observe that, Tooltips is displayed, when a cursor placed over a Line command in Draw panel under Home tab.

5. Further, click on the Display tab under Options dialog box.

In AutoCAD Show Tooltips option controls the display of tooltips. 7. Further, click on the Apply button under Options dialog box.
