In AutoCAD Construction Line command is used to draw a line that extends to infinity at both sides of specified point. This command is also known as XLINE command. Infinite lines do not change the total area of the drawing. Therefore, their infinite dimensions have no effect on zooming or viewpoints, and they are ignored by commands that display the drawing extents. You can move, rotate, and copy infinite lines just as you can move, rotate, and copy other objects. The various options in the XLINE command are Hor (Horizontal)
Ver (Vertical)
Ang (Angular)
Bisect
Offset
To learn, how to use XLINE command follow below mentioned steps. 1. Now, click on the Draw panel title bar to expand the Draw panel.

You can also activate Construction Line command by entering XLINE or XL at the Command line. Another method to select the Construction Line command is also available. You can select the Construction Line command from Menu Bar > Draw > Construction Line. You can also find Construction Line command in Draw toolbar of the AutoCAD classic workspace.

6. Next, press Enter or Right-click to exit the Construction Line command.
You can also use Spacebar in place of Enter key to exit the Construction Line command.
