Extend command extends objects to meet the edges of other objects. You can also activate Extend command by entering Extend or EX at the Command line. Another method to select the Extend command is also available. You can select the Extend command from Menu Bar > Modify > Extend. You can also find Extend command in Modify toolbar of the AutoCAD classic workspace.

4. Next, press Enter or Right-click to proceed further.
You can also use Spacebar in place of Enter key.

6. Observe that, selected object is extended to defined boundary by using the Extend command.

8. Next, press Enter to exit the Extend command.

CADIN360.COM LEARNING TUTORIALS You can also exit the Extend command by pressing the Spacebar or Esc in place of Enter key. You can also right-click to display the shortcut menu and then select the Enter or Cancel option from it to exit the Extend command.
