CADIN360.COM LEARNING TUTORIALS Let’s learn how to use Fillet command. In AutoCAD Fillet command is used to rounds and fillets the edges of object. The Fillet command is used to form round corners between any two entities that form a sharp corner. As a result, a smooth round arc is created that connects the two objects. A fillet can also be created between two intersecting or parallel lines as well as non-intersecting and nonparallel lines, arcs, polylines, xlines, rays, splines, circles, and true ellipses. The fillet arc created will be tangent to both the selected entities. The default fillet radius is 0.00. To learn, how to use Fillet command in AutoCAD follow below mentioned steps. 1. Now, click on the Fillet command in Modify panel under Home tab.

Fillet command rounds and fillets the edges of objects. You can also activate Fillet command by entering FILLET or F at the Command line. Another method to select the Fillet command is also available. You can select the Fillet command from Menu Bar > Modify > Fillet. You can also find Fillet command in Modify toolbar of the AutoCAD classic workspace.

5. Next, type 3 as fillet radius.

7. Next, select first object.

9. Observe that, fillet is applied with specified radius to the edges of rectangle by using the Fillet command.
