Tutorial : How to use Mirror command In this tutorial you will learn, how to use Mirror command.


CADIN360.COM LEARNING TUTORIALS Let’s learn how to use Mirror command. In AutoCAD Mirror command is used to create a mirror copy of the selected objects. The objects can be mirrored at any angle. Mirroring is useful for creating symmetrical objects because you can quickly draw half the object and then mirror it instead of drawing the entire object. To learn, how to use Mirror command follow below mentioned steps. 1. Now, click on the Mirror command in Modify panel under Home tab.

Mirror command creates a mirrored copy of selected objects. You can create objects that represent half of a drawing, select them, and mirror them across a specified line to create the other half. You can also activate Mirror command by entering MIRROR or MI at the Command line. Another method to select the Mirror command is also available. You can select the Mirror command from Menu Bar > Modify > Mirror. You can also find Mirror command in Modify toolbar of the AutoCAD classic workspace.

3. Next, press Enter or Right-click to proceed further.

You can also use Spacebar in place of Enter key.

5. Next, specify second point of mirror line.

A mirror line is an imaginary line about which the objects are mirrored. If you want to delete source objects then type Y and press Enter.

7. Next, press Enter to mirror the selected objects.
