Point is defined as a geometric object that has no dimension and properties, except location. However, in AutoCAD, you can control the size and appearance (style) of a point. You can create multiple points with Multiple Points command. Points can act as nodes to which you can snap objects. You can specify a full three-dimensional location for a point. Points created using Multiple Point command are used for reference. To learn, how to use Point command follow below mentioned steps 1. Now, click on the Draw panel title bar to expand the Draw panel.

Multiple Points command creates multiple point objects. You can use measure and divide to create points along an object. You can also activate Point command by entering POINT or PO at the Command line. Another method to select the Point command is also available. You can select the Point command from Menu Bar > Draw > Point > Single Point / Multiple Point / Divide / Measure. You can also find Point command in Draw toolbar of the AutoCAD classic workspace.
