CADIN360.COM LEARNING TUTORIALS Let’s learn how to use Rotate command. In AutoCAD the Rotate command is used to rotate an object around the specified base point at a specified rotation angle. To learn, how to use Rotate command to rotate an object follow below mentioned steps. 1. Now, click on the Rotate command in Modify panel under Home tab.
Rotate command rotates an object around a base point. You can specify an angle value 0 to 360 degree. Positive angle value rotates the object counter clockwise and negative angle value rotates the objects clockwise. You can also activate Rotate command by entering ROTATE or RO at the Command line. Another method to select the Rotate command is also available. You can select the Rotate command from Menu Bar > Modify > Rotate. You can also find Rotate command in Modify toolbar of the AutoCAD classic workspace.

Also you can specify the rotation angle by pressing Enter or Space bar to accept the default value shown at command line. 6. Positive angle value rotates the objects counter clockwise and negative angle value rotates the objects clockwise around the specified base point.

8. Then, press Enter or Right-click to rotate the object and exit the Rotate command.
