CADIN360.COM LEARNING TUTORIALS Let’s learn how to use Trim command. In AutoCAD Trim command is used to trim the object to meet the edges of other object. The Trim command is similar to the Extend command. To learn, how to use Trim command to trim a line follow below mentioned steps. 1. Now, click on the Trim command in Modify panel under Home tab.

Trim command trims objects to meet the edges of other objects. You can also activate Trim command by entering TRIM or TR at the Command line. Another method to select the Trim command is also available. You can select the Trim command from Menu Bar > Modify > Trim. You can also find Trim command in Modify toolbar of the AutoCAD classic workspace.

You can also use Spacebar in place of Enter key.

5. Next, Select object to trim.

7. Similarly, select another object to trim.

You can also exit the Trim command by pressing the Spacebar or Esc in place of Enter key. You can also right-click to display the shortcut menu and then select the Enter or Cancel option from it to exit the Trim command.
