CADY was excellent! Wasn't sure what to expect, but it was clean and set up nicely. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The photographers all did a good job, especially Jay and Dom . I can't wait to get my daughters senior win.

The photographers made me feel so good about myself whilst taking the pictures and I felt like because of that my pictures came out 100 times better!

It's a nice experience, the photographer Jacquelyn was so nice and helped guide me through posing. I was nervous at first but it was such a wonderful environment and everyone I interacted with was so nice that my worries washed away. The makeup artists were amazing and the other photographers were super sweet!

Jackie was amazing!!! She went above and beyond for my nephew. She took her time and captured every moment with grace and efficiency.

Letter from the Leaders

I’m so excited to be part of the management team this year. This is my second year but my third season and I’m happy to be the Assistant Studio Manager for the 2024 season. My main goals for this year are to have as smooth a year as possible. To help with this we have been organizing EVERYTHING. The studio has gotten very busy these last few weeks and it finally feels like we’re getting back into the full swing of things!

As things get hectic, I want to be able to sort out any issues as they come up, so open communication is HUGE! Let’s sort out any minor problems and bumps in the road before they become major issues. This will help us keep the studio experience great from student to student.

To close I want to say how freaking proud I am of our staff!!!

From my studio team knocking it out of the park with pre-sales and presentations to the photography team taking such amazing photos and being so attentive with yearbook and cap and gown. I am so proud of everyone who makes up the Charlotte Studio.

As we progress through the season, try and make connections with the other side of the studio, if you are a photographer be sure to meet everyone on the front side of things and vice versa.

We have seen a lot of growth from everyone in different areas. We need to be focusing on speed and efficiency when on the floor.

Studio Experience Representative

Lauren (aka Noah) is typically the first face that every client sees when they come into the studio. She welcomes each student with a smile, addresses them by name the entire time that she is explaining the studio policy and procedure. She consistently puts the time and effort into making each student feel like their senior portraits are the best way to unleash their potential and show their personality.

Rita makes it her personal mission to speak with every parent and student that enters the Charlotte Studio. She is always eager to learn about their story, and makes every person feel heard.

Photo Ops Manager

Demarius is our fearless Photography Operations Manager here in Charlotte and each time he is preparing to leave the studio, he makes sure to speak to every member of his team and the Studio team to ensure they all know he is there to assist them with anything they may need before he leaves the studio. He will put his own plans on hold to ensure that each team member feels heard and that they get the assistance that they need.

It’s important in our workplace to never lose sight of our creativity. I’m nominating Bel for this core value because she has shown so much improvement this season and is inspiring to others. Bel has great ideas and encourages others to be creative!

Marcy is always pushing for the photographers and leads to come to her with any problems or concerns so that she can do her best to accommodate. Keeping everyone happy and morale at 100% is always her first priority.

Makala is a Lead Photographer here in Charlotte who makes sure that every detail is attended to on the floor and events. She always takes a step back and makes sure the framing and cropping is perfect before she keys in on the details of the foreground and subject. All these little things make her pictures pop out.

From the little things like a flawless check-in to a big ol’ Spoil Me sale, you can always find Mike on the studio floor celebrating his team. He was giving high fives before it was cool. Mike has created such a positive environment in the studio. His door is always open to his team, and he is always ensuring they are recognized for all they do. Thank you Mike for always being that cheerful greeting in the chaos and an uplifting spirit to your team.

Getting the student to go to destination as the sun was setting made for prime photos. RJ achieved the perfect lighting coming through the slotted roof in the background and having the spring lights behind the student as he walked toward the camera.

By capturing the moment at just the right time he was able to get a great photo filled with emotion.
