WHY A MASTER’S PROGRAMME IN BIG DATA FOR THE TRAVEL&TOURISM INDUSTRY Big Data have a strategic value for the travel&tourism and cultural Industries, given the huge volume of information they produce. Technologies help businesses to map the digital footprints tourists leave online and data analytics is crucial to identify clients’ behaviour and new business potentials. To take advantage of these opportunities, professionals are required to integrate relevant data, identify meaningful relationships and create valuable knowledge.

THE COURSE STRUCTURE The course includes: Classes: labs, interactive seminars, presentations led by business representatives, project works, case studies, hands-on activities, workshops. An internship in the most important travel&tourism and cultural companies, in Italy and abroad.

TO PARTICIPATE Academic requirements, bachelor degree in: Computer science Statistics, mathematics, physical sciences Economics with a computer science minor Electronic engineering or engineering management Applications submitted by graduates in other disciplines, with a proven working experience in Big Data Analytics, will be assessed by the Master’s Board.

FEE AND SCHOLARSHIPS Tuition fee: 12,000 Euro. Thanks to partner e sponsor companies, at least 8 scholarships will be granted to the best applicants. The scholarships will cover half of the tuition fee. The Master’s students can also access to post graduate tuition fee loans reserved to Ca’ Foscari University students.
